Bangla Bazar Halal Meat & Grocery — Local services in Hatfield Township

Called a few days prior to my visit to price out a few items and compare to other local Asian & South Asian specialty grocery stores. Prices provided over the phone were competitive and appropriate for all goods.

Unfortunately, the prices are not clearly labeled in the store. As the cashier manually inputted the price for each item, I noticed a severe discrepancy between what I was quoted over the phone & what was being charged in real-time. I contested the prices and the cashier reluctantly adjusted.

My overall experience was unacceptable. Bangla Bazar has failed to earn my future business & I will be sure to share my negative experience with friends, family, and colleagues.

Stopped in here when my wife was feeling ill and needed water on our commute home late at night. It was minutes to store closing hours. All I needed was water. The clerk provided me with a free bottle of water, not even knowing my wife was in need. They showed a true sense of community awareness and kindness. They truly made my family's night better. They have no idea which is why I'm writing this review. Acts of kindness should always be recognized. They are very over priced. I ordered by phone when I brought them home, I saw there was hardly any meat.10 small chickens cost me 80.00 dollars and 12 lbs beef which was only bone and a lot of fatty skins. They did not clean the fat properly. When they weighed it, it was weighed with the bone and fat. Which made the price larger. The beef cost me 103.00.The other fishes prices were ridiculously high. If they want to do the business, they will have to be fair with their product priceS. I will NEVER go to that store and I will not recommend the peoples to go...
