Sundae World — Restaurant in Hatfield Township

My family and I did not have a good experience at this place. Half of the staff was nice, other half was extremely rude. We went up to the counter and they didn't say anything. Ordered our stuff, didn't say anything, just handed us what we ordered. Checked us out, and again didn't say anything except the total. We got two 1 scoop ice cream cups and 1 ice cream sandwich, total was $17. I thought something was off because on what planet does an ice cream sandwich cost $8-9? I went back in and there was a different person at the checkout this time and she was very friendly, said the other girl charged us for a pack of 6 ice cream sandwiches. She called her boss and he said he'd refund us. Two days later i get a $4 refund. So for 1 tiny ice cream sandwich they still charged us $4. Amazing. Plus they didn't have waffles. You're better off getting quart of ice cream from grocery store which tastes the same for $4 for 10 people. You could also buy 20 chocolate chip cookies for $3. Then for $7 you would have 10 ice cream sandwiches that taste better and cost less. Then you could open up an ice cream stand and...

My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon in May after working outside in the heat for a while. The place was empty when we got there and it only took a few minutes to get our order. I got the Mississippi mud pie sundae and he got the turtle sundae with extreme chocolate ice cream. They were both really good, not the best ice cream we’ve ever had but very tasty and worth going back for. We ate inside and the tables were clean (until my husband dropped his hot fudge onto ours 🤦🏼‍♀️).

Also, just a side note since people commented on the lack of sugar free and dairy free options previously… they had both a dairy free/vegan and sugar free option. The dairy free was Oreo and the sugar free was butter...

The fb page said 10pm, but the door read 9:30. It was 9:32 and the doors we unlocked, open with the lights on. The young girl was standing at the check out area counting the till (bad business /safety practice with the doors unlocked). We walked in right behind another couple (4 customers) and she said closed, that she had closed the register. What poor customer service. We both offered to pay cash, not to mess up her paperwork, but she refused and we all walked out. It will be a long time before I make that drive to your store. I will gladly take my business...
