The service worker at the front was very rude and at no point expressed any courtesy or etiquette. ALL of the soft drinks served at the restaurant were uncarbonated; with the restaurant effectively serving just a mixture of water and fountain syrup. The majority of the tables appeared to be unclean(note that by using the word “unclean” to describe the restaurant I mean that it appeared that there had been no employees to have been inconvenienced or convicted to clean), with visible crumbs, sauces, drink-spillage, and other substances decorating some of them. The only somewhat redeeming quality of the restaurant was the food, which was, at best, decent, but does not compensate for the rest of the experience. I personally find attending this establishment as inexcusable, as there are similar restaurants in the area with superior service, superior food and a...
Read moreMenu uploaded to pictures. After eating and comparing food quality to others I've given 4 instead of 3 stars. Philly roll isn't smoked, but does have larger pieces of fish than most. If after trying more i find anything especially good or bad I'll...
Read moreOEC Japanese Express is a great little bang-for-the-buck establishment a short walk from the Southern Miss campus. It has your standard Japanese Hibachi selections (chicken, shrimp, steak) and a decent selection of sushi. It's not Benihana - nor does it pretend to be - but you get a sizable amount of food for the price.
For the ultimate spendthrift, the Chicken Yakimesi gives you a gargantuan serving of hibachi chicken and fried rice for just under $6. Shrimp and rice are only slightly more expensive.
Orders are served quickly and with sizable amounts of shrimp sauce on the side. For the price and purpose, OEC definitely fits the bill for...
