I have come to appreciate the finer things in life, and China Express is one such treasure. This establishment has earned my highest respect and admiration, akin to a well-executed roundhouse kick.
From the moment I entered, I was greeted with the warmth and respect that mirrors the principles of Taekwondo. The ambiance is serene, much like the calm before a powerful strike. The staff, ever courteous and attentive, demonstrate the same dedication and precision that I instill in my students.
The food at China Express is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Each dish is prepared with the meticulous care and balance that one would expect from a seasoned martial artist. The flavors are harmonious, blending together like a perfectly executed form. The General Tso's Chicken, in particular, is a knockout, delivering a punch of flavor that leaves you craving more.
The portions are generous, ensuring that even the most formidable appetite is satisfied. The prices are fair, reflecting the value and quality of the experience. Just as in Taekwondo, where every move has its purpose, every dish at China Express is crafted with intention and skill.
In conclusion, China Express is a place where tradition meets excellence. It is a dojo of culinary delight, where every meal is a lesson in flavor and satisfaction. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to all, whether you are a fellow martial artist or simply someone who appreciates good food. Five stars,...
Read moreMy mom was in hattiesburg at a hotel and decided to order from here. She ordered the beef egg foo young, shrimp eggrolls, and egg drop soup. When the food got delivered, everything came except the egg foo young. She called the restaurant and the man said that she didn't get charged for the egg foo young because he didn't see it on her order but it was clearly on her receipt. He then stated that if she wanted egg foo young that she would need to reorder it and pay all the fees again to have it delivered. So she went ahead and reordered the egg foo young to be served with fried rice instead of white rice. The food finally came but it was AWFUL!!! The egg foo young didn't come with any vegetables or sauce on it like it's supposed to, just some thrown together dry patties! And then to top it all off they didn't even give her fried rice instead they gave her some white rice that was in a small container that could feed a toddler. The egg drop soup was SUPER OILY and barely any egg to it. This is literally the worst chinese restaurant ever and I would NEVER recommend anyone to eat here, not even my WORST ENEMY!!! Please read the reviews before ordering and take your money...
Read moreI don’t really review restaurants, but… This was hands down the worst Chinese food experience I’ve ever had, sadly. We didn’t receive all the food we ordered, and literally EVERY piece of food we DID receive tasted like plastic or chemicals, so strongly that we could smell it from across the room. When I called to inquire about my issues and at the very least get a refund for the food we didn’t receive, the employees acted like we had never ordered from them — even though we had spoken on the phone to confirm our order. They clearly had an MO for people who want refunds. Im genuinely concerned about the safety of this food, given the chemical taste, so we threw ours away. I will never order from them again, and I will tell my friends to avoid China...
