Ward's — Restaurant in Hattiesburg

The food is pathetic, when considering this is fast food, it's pathetic at the bottom of the list. I ordered a quarter pounder, I think the bun was a quarter pound, the burger was pathetic small and tasteless, no cheese, the fries were soggy but tasted better than the burger, my wife got the catfish platter, at first look didn't seem too bad until she started eating it. What looked like a big piece of fish turned out to be breading. A tiny piece of fish with a big air hole cavity surrounded by breading. The girl when we came in sauntered up to the register, no "may I take your order? " she just stood there until I told her what I wanted, did not bother to tell me if this came with a drink or anything else because the menu sure doesn't tell you. If this is what you all like in Mississippi then I'm sorry to tell you that your 8 year old child can make food better than this. What's real sad is next to this place, mc dollar's gets a rave review for both service and food. You get 1 star because I can't give a negative rating. This is my first and last time...

Yesterday a worker lied to her boss. Look at your cameras sir! I placed 3 five dollar bills gently into her hand. She let the money fly out of her hand. She was not being rude, she just didnt hold onto the money. She lied and said I slammed it on the counter. The audacity to lie like that proves she knew she was guilty of money flying off. Me trying to park car and chase flying money was impossible. I inadvertently backed car into their cement post, thus causing possibly over 1,000 in damage to my car. I became upset and screamed due to her lack of concern. She proceeds to LAUGH at me. Her Manager seemed like he didnt care. Oh, shes 8 months pregnant. Who CARES! Wards you employ a deceitful young lady. You should pay for the damage to my car. Her pointing to my money flying in parking lost is pathic!!!! Look at you security tape. Shes...

Maybe we caught them on a bad day or at the wrong time. We ordered the chicken strip kids' meal and when it arrived the strip was piping hot (I could barely touch it) and judging by the looks and texture, it had been preheated more than once and my little would not eat it but he enjoyed the fries. My husband ordered the chicken basket and it was the same...piping hot and dried out.

I ordered the Ward Quarter and experienced quite the opposite.... it came out cold, the bun was much bigger than the dried up "quarter" patty. The onion rings were good though.

However, the service was great and I should've listened to one of the cashier's regarding my order. Lol

As I mentioned, we may have caught them on a bad day or should've ordered something different. Because of the customer service, I am willing to try them again....but...
