We arrived a few minutes before 9. Our server greeted us promptly. I requested just 2 waters "FOR NOW", and said we were waiting for the 9pm 1/2 price bar menu. Our server offered to take our order immediatly & just put it in at 9. However, being facinated with the new ordering device on the table I requested to just order our appetizers from the table. Idk if maybe Brian took offense to my request but that was when the night turned for the worse. We placed our order of apps, Brian returned to the table & retrieved our menus, never offering us other types of drinks or entrees or anything. I'd actually been interested in one the drink specials, "fuzzy something", and had been anticipating him describing them to us as there was a paper on the table saying if he didn't we'd get free nachos. So I waited. And waited. Since I couldn't order that myself from the tablet I thought for sure he's mention it. When he didn't I decided it wasn't a need & I could do with out the overpriced alcohol. From then on if we needed it it has to be requested, most of the time by flagging him down. He's walk by our table & not even stop to check on us idk how many times. It wasn't just him. The manager appeared to know the members of the table behind us & was standing right there most of the night. I started a pile of dirty dishes at the the of the table. It had crupled up napkins on top & was clearly ready to be removed. No one removed it, dispite water being refilled (upon request) and other empty handed visits & walking by our table. That pile stayed firmly in place. We weren't asked if we wanted dessert, but we'd visited that night due to an advertisement for the churro snores, and I ordered them, not from a server inquiring if we wanted dessert after he'd finally removed our plates (or even asking if we needed our check), but from the tablet. While I'd requested to use it to order our appetizers I had no clue that that request would be interpreted as, "We don't require any customer service from you, please leave us alone for the rest of the night". Dessert came, we finished it. We sat waiting for our check. Finally he came over & asked if we wanted our check. Yes, obviously we did. He brought it & nothing was marked half price. Instead of looking at the check he plopped down the half price menu in front of me pointed to it & informed me that "ONLY items on this menu were half priced". I pointed out that EVERY item we'd ordered was on that menu. His response, "oh, I didn't even look at your receipt". He took it away, fixed it & brought it back. The manager, being next to our booth still needed to sign off on the price adjustment & came the 2 feet to our table to did so. Read moreDespite the fact that we read all the terrible reviews on this location, my boyfriend and I still decided to give this place a try- how bad could it be right?! Oh we were proven wrong!! I'm not even going to go into the description of the ambience ( or the lack of it). We sat at the bar, which was unnecessary brightly lit- kills the entire purpose of sitting at the bar in my opinion. Our bartender was prompt to take our drink order, followed by our food order- no complains there. We ordered from the 2 for 20 menu; we both ordered steaks ( medium rare). This is the point where I decided to write this review- because both steaks looked grey( from being microwaved), at least my bfs steak had imprints from the grill.. Mine was thoroughly microwaved- no juices, no pink center , no flavor! My bfs steak on the other hand was looking raw on the inside- and not your regular medium rare cooked steak on the inside! Although, our bartender did check on us almost as soon as we got our food, she failed to ask me if anything was wrong after I left my plate barely touched! Minutes later, a couple took a seat next to us, and I overheard them trying to pick what to get- and I jokingly said to them not to get steak- to my surprise the guy next to me goes oh I know- I work here, why did you get steak? ( sounding almost sarcastic). Terrible!!! Moreover minutes later a manager came over to say hi to him and place an order on his food - to my understanding for free! I'm so very disappointed with this place!!!! This review might sound cruel; however, I had my share of working in service industry and I can imagine how one could possibly work in/ run this horrifically unstable establishment. PS. I hadn't been there in years because the service was so slow in the past but I went last night with some friends (I didn't choose the restaurant). Unfortunately, nothing has changed. While she was very friendly when she actually talked to us, our server would spend 30+ minutes without even glancing our way, much less asking if we needed anything. It took 15 min for her to even come over and say hello and take our drink order. I should have known what I was in for at that point, but she even commented that she was sorry we had to wait. At one point, we had been waiting 15 min for her to take our dessert order (after she took our plates and told us the options so she knew we were interested) when I had to go to the restroom. As I passed her, I said, "my friends want to order dessert when you're ready." She said ok. After getting back to the table, we waited another 15 min for her to even take their dessert order! When it arrived, it was another 10 min until our coffee came. Then we literally waited 45 min for our check (I was annoyed and checked the time constantly) at which point we had to raise our voices to stop her as she was walking away from another table to ask her for our check because she had gone to the tables around us without even making eye contact with us. The manager needs to step up their game and come check on tables to see how service is because they would get an earful! It was empty when we got there but the same waitress seated a party of 5 next to us, fed them apps and meals, got them out the door and gave a new table their drinks and apps in the time it took us to eat there!
