Steve's Famous Roast Beef & More — Restaurant in Haverhill

Place has horrible service. I placed an order at 7pm it said it would be delivered by 7:55-8:05pm. So I wait until 8:25 call the place back and ask what is going on. I let the lady know when I placed the order how it was already a half hour over the expected delivery time. She tells me that he left with six orders to drop off. Min you all I got was fries a sandwich and a calzone. I even asked the lady so we are the last stop on his route even though we are five mins away. She said she doesn’t know how he does his route. So I ask what if we get our food and everything is cold? She tells me well call us back and we will deal with it then. At this point it’s rolling around 9pm we are starving and tired at this point. The food finally gets her and like I expect everything is cold. It was really disappointing because the fries seemed like they would have been really good. At that point I didn’t feel like calling them back and waiting for a new order to come out and who knows how they will make it at that point. Those three items cost me over 30 dollars to get ice cold food from a place that’s five mins away that’s just crazy. Food seemed ok just don’t order delivery unless you’re far away then you will get your stuff first. So after all that I was just basically out 30 bucks and right now 30 bucks means something with everything going on in the world. So in conclusion I would not...

Just moved to Bradford recently and trying different local places for food delivery. I started off with Steve's Famous Roast Beef & More with pizzas which were fantastic. Not overly greasy, nice crust, cooked perfectly and great flavor.

Just had my second order from Steve's for me and my daughters; one had a small pizza so we're good with the pizza. The rest of the order: My other daughter had a roast beef sandwich. It was OK, not spectacular but she'd order it again. I ordered a haddock dinner. The fish was good and I'm really glad that Steve's uses real French fries rather than those overly-crisp ones that other pizza shops/restaurants have. The onion rings though... ugh. Overcooked, very soggy and smelled bad (and no it wasn't the fish that smelled).

Other minor issues: Ordered a bottle of lemonade, did not get it with the order. My fish dinner had a side salad and I asked for Italian dressing - didn't get any. Didn't get any tartar sauce with my fish dinner (this should be automatic - it's a fish dinner!)

Overall with this order the food was "OK". But if I'm paying $16 for a fish dinner then the quality and attention to detail with the order should...

I have been getting lunch at Steve's a few times a month for about a year and a half. Steve's is good at picking up the phone, averages 10-15 for a three - or - four person order.

4.0/5.0 for Food. Pretty consistent with their food. Some subs can be occasionally dry but overall very flavorful. Pizza isn't too greasy or floppy. I would recommend their chicken parm calzone, hot braided steak and cheese sub, and meatball sub.

5/5 for Service. Good at picking up the phone, very understanding, and quick with their orders. I have never had a negative experience with their staff.

3/5 for Atmosphere. I can't speak to the atmosphere very well because I've never eaten in, however whenever I have gone to pick up food, it has been a very welcoming environment. The seats and tables are comfortable. So 3/5 not for a negative reason, but...
