Went in to get a coffee and there was two people working behind the counter and we did not get a hello or welcome in. We decided on what to get and walked up to the counter to order. The girl at the counter did not say hello or anything to us so we said hello and told her our order. We waited for the coffee in the very bare and minimally decorated space that does not provide much if any atmosphere. When our coffee was ready, one of the girls called out the mocha and when we asked if it was ours she nodded to us instead of saying anything. The coffee was good but the overall atmosphere and experience was not enjoyable at all.

The next day we went to RainbowJo’s right down the street and had the complete opposite experience. It is a vibrant and colorfully decorated space and you are immediately met with the owner greeting you. He takes the time to give you a rundown of the entire menu. The organic coffee was delicious and they had great pastries too. We sat inside on the sofas and looked at all the plants and decorations inside. The owner says goodbye to every person who walks out even if he is interrupting the person ordering their coffee. They even have a hula hoop station out back so you can get your hula on. It completely redeemed our coffee experience in Kauai and was the most fun coffee shop I’ve been in.
