This tour was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had! Weeks later, I'm still taking it all in and I'm still in awe from all of the beautiful sights we saw during this tour. Not only was I blown away by the tour, I was absolutely impressed by the entire team. They accommodated each of our last minute requests (same-day booking and transportation needs) and they even picked us up from our resort and dropped us off at the airport. They did it all with a smile and the most professional attitude ever. Our pilot, Dana, was incredible! He was calm, funny, and knowledgeable. He made me feel incredibly safe despite it being my first helicopter ride and it being quite a windy day. I was so amazed by how smooth the ride was - it was definitely smoother than an airplane and the landing was flawless. During the tour, Dana rotated the helicopter to ensure everyone got good views of the sights. This whole experience was truly amazing! This is by far the best way to see the Na Pali Coast and Waimea Canyon. And to top it all off, you have the option to purchase a recording of the tour so you can have the memory forever. So this was our first time up in a chopper but what a wonderful and amazing experience. Andrew (Drew) our pilot was nice young man with a calming voice and a steady hand. As e flew us out over the Volcano National Park he gave us detailed descriptions of what we were seeing and how it came to be. He’d go around the features one way and again the other way so everyone could get a good view. We sat up front with the pilot and the four other passengers sat behind us. Viewing was excellent where ever you sat. After the park we headed to the rivers and waterfalls. Stunning. You wear headphones thru which the pilot communicates and protects your ears. You have microphones to ask questions remembering everyone is hearing. The ladies serving as ground were great, warm, friendly and welcoming. At the end of the flight they use your phones to take pictures of you and their chopper. Overall it was a true bucket list experience and one that you should seriously consider doing.

My wife and I came to Kauai for our honeymoon, one thing we knew from the start of planning our trip was that we wanted to take a helicopter tour of the island. She decided on Safari for the Eco tour, which was the perfect decision! Safari’s booming process was simple, within 24 hours I had an email confirmation telling me which flight I was scheduled on, when to be to the office and what to expect. Confirmation call 24 hours before was a great reminder. Check in was boring but you do what you gotta do! The staff were all super friendly, talkative and funny. The helicopter was not too crowded with all of us in it. Our pilot Paul was amazing, knowledgeable and very entertaining! He was the best part of the tour. Getting a tour of the island was perfect, we were able to get as close as the helicopter could to the waterfalls and landing on the Richardson’s land was beautiful. I would highly recommend Safari Helicopters to anyone going to Kauai!

Have always wanted to try the helicopter tour but have never done it. This time we made up our mind that if we are going to visit Kauai we had to do a helicopter tour. Let me just tell you it was an experience of a lifetime. From the moment we stepped aboard that helicopter the entire flight was just breathtaking. We decided to book with Safari Helicopter Tours because of there great reviews and we have had several friends book through them. They have just praised this organization over and over. I can’t not say enough how well run this company is. The whole experience was just phenomenal. Our pilot was amazing. He kept us entertained, answered all our questions, and made us enjoy the whole experience. The team at Safari Helicopter made this whole experience the most amazing part of our trip, including the nice guy with the mayor button. Thank you Safari Helicopter for making our trip magical.

The best way (and only way) to see all of Kaua’i is from the sky and Safari Helicopters have a fantastic tour during our trip. We did the helicopter and eco tour and were very happy with it all. While some other reviewers are correct in saying the initial wait in the reception is long, it is worth the wait. We had Paco as our pilot and he was informative and knowledgeable about the whole island. We were able to get very close to canyons and waterfalls for views that were breathtaking. The eco tour and change to meet Mr Keith Robinson was a memorable experience allowing you to land and get out of the helicopter at the Waimea Canyon (while amazing and a great experience it was slightly oversold in brochures - was expecting a bit of a hike/walk about as opposed to a short stop and photo op; but loved it just the same). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to anyone.
