Horrible service. Ordered two smoothies and two bagels with cream cheese. The food and drinks themselves were very good. However, we were charged for POG on the side ($5) even though we didn't order it. We also ordered a fruit bowl "the classic" and apparently that never made it onto our order. When we tried to resolve the issue with this location they did not want to take the POG off or help with any form of service recovery. Also, this location is very very busy in the mornings and usually runs out of food early on. There is very limited seating. We went to the front desk and was informed that since this company is a vendor, that Hilton is unable to do anything. They suggested that we go to the other side of the property and speak to the other location of this vendor and try to resolve it through them. The other location provided us with two free drink coins and made us the fruit bowl after...
Read moreWe had read other reviews stating that dining at the resort would be expensive and not great food, but we decided why not give it a go and see for ourselves. We wanted to get something quick and opted for a coffee and breakfast sandwich at the coffee hut instead of paying $90 for two plus tip at the buffet. After we ordered, no one started on our sandwiches and we watched as one of the employees used a feathered dust brush to dust around the food, touching all sides of the sandwiches. We thought, “Wow, okay. Maybe the microwave will get hot enough to kill off anything left by the brush.” Nope. Got our sandwiches and the sausage was cold, as if it just came out of the fridge 30min beforehand. Needless to say, the birds enjoyed our sandwiches better than we did.
Best advice: heed the advice of other travelers. Plan ahead and don’t eat at the resort. You’ll waste your money...
Read moreI don't see why people complain about the pricing you're in Hawaii at a well known resort of course it's going to be $$. The Hawaiian latte with oat milk is amazing I was here two weeks and got one every morning. Also the acai bowls are amazing I got the classic and added cocoa nubs, macadamia nuts and honey. In the room I also added some local fruits I picked up from the market. Lillkoi and rumbaton. It's super busy but the line goes pretty fast. Definitely deserves more credit than the reviews. The only downfall is it closes at noon so if you want coffee after that you have to walk to the other side...
