I often come to this Jack in the Box during my lunch break. I always order the crispy chicken strips, but am always a little wary since every Jack in the Box I've been to will end up burning at least one of the strips every other visit. I prefer to eat the strips as is, but when the chicken is tough and dry from over cooking, I use the buttermilk sauce to try to cover up the taste. I just accept it as a fact of life when ordering from Jack in the Box. Today was one such day.
This time though, about halfway through my meal, the lady at the counter inquired about how my meal was since there were no other customers at the time. When I informed her that one piece was burnt, she requisitioned a new one to take its place without me ever having to approach the counter. Needless to say, this level of service goes above and beyond any level of service I've received at a fast food restaurant and, at the time of this review, I would highly recommend this Jack in the Box as a great place to eat in.
PS: Today, the printed covers for the buttermilk sauce were humorously askew. Just a funny...
Read moreFor me, this location is out of the way except for when I'm at work. It's a fairly newish store, probably about 15 years old or so, located at the busy intersection of Lower Main & Lower Waiehu Beach Rd. It's a small footprint, clean, with a few indoor tables, and drive thru. Access in & out is easy, parking is minuscule and tight.
Service was friendly, though it took a while for my Ultimate Cheeseburger to be made. But, it was well worth the wait as the burger was nicely prepared and not sloppy at all except for a few ketchup & mustard overflows. The more, the merrier!
FACTS: There are only 3 locations on the rock - This one, Kahului, and Kihei.

Read moreThe staff is always great and hard working. I did let the employee know that if it takes 40 minutes for a mobile order, then you shouldn’t be accepting them. It’s not fair to the team members working there. This has been a consistent problem. One time I left after none of the cars moved forward for 27 minutes. This was about a month and a half ago. Or two. And it was just for a breakfast sandwich.
And if you don’t have enough staff, you shouldn’t be open and you definitely shouldn’t be accepting more than drive thru and dine in. This just happened a third time tonight. And I meant to tell the sweet employee that she should let management and owner know.
