Customer service 6/10 Value for money 8/10 Quality of experience 9/10

I had the most expensive popsicle of my whole life (so far) here today.

The two pops I had each was 4.77 dollars. They taste pretty real and fruity and you can appreciate locally made and locally sourced and handcrafted.

You should try one. It is quite an experience both realizing this little piece of popsicle costs so much and enjoying it like a fancy desert later on.

We also got a while pineapple here. Very cute!

The reason I didn't care for the customer service and rated low is because this is a supermarket, not a restaurant. I am a pretty generous tipper but it still weirds me out that I came in, picked some items and got in line to check out. And the cashier would flip the credit card machine with a minimum tip of 15%.

Why would I work as a restaurant server if I can make this much tip being a cashier?

Everybody I looked at pretty much all picked the 15 percent. Like how would you really turn the tip machine that has been pushed to you back or click on no tip to a nice person's face?

For me I always ending up paying some extra bucks and feel cheated and unfair (to other folks working on tip)

Seriously, we just checked out from a market. Tune that greed down a...

DAY 2 of Vacation - After ziplining, we wanted to walk around the town. We stumbled upon this local shop and decided to grab some snacks before driving back to Kona.

Ambiance/Environment: I love the open space. There were so many products, groceries, and food. There is also limited outdoor seating.

Service: I didn't catch her name, but the owner was so nice and welcoming. She gave us good recommendations from the drink menu.

Everything we got:

  1. Maui Vera - I bought this reef friendly sunscreen. I was told regular sunscreen will not help, so I waited until we came out here to buy sunscreen. This sunscreen helped protect me from crazy sunburns. It is very thick and dries up quickly. It does leave you looking whiter than usual lol.

  2. Smoothies - My ILs ordered the Hawaiian Superman, Strawberry Bliss, Chocolate Monkey, and Super Soursop. All these smoothies were recommended by the owner based on their preferences. They absolutely enjoyed their drinks. Perfect refresher after 2 hours of ziplining.

  3. Tropical Dreams Ice Cream - My BIL got an 8 oz ube ice cream. We all took a spoonful to try it. Wow .. the ube flavor was...

I stumbled upon this market after going skydiving, and it turned out to be the perfect post-adventure find. The fresh fruit smoothies were packed with flavor, refreshing and exactly what I needed — but what truly stood out to me was the Kombucha. It was ridiculously good, easily one of the best I’ve ever had, and left a lasting impression.

I also tried the Taro Burger, which was different in the best way — unique, flavorful, and something I’d definitely have again.

What really adds to the charm of this market is the variety of locally grown products lining the shelves. It’s a great way to sample ingredients and goods grown right on the island by...
