Kickin' Crab — Restaurant in Hawaiian Gardens

If i could give no stars i would. i am a kicking crab lover & have never had such disrespectful & disgusting service at any location until me & my family dined at this one. we came in for lunch & was greeting by a server who was straight rude & made “jokes” about the amount of food we ordered & even went as far as commenting on our paying class. one member of our group ordered crab & live crawfish in which he responded with “damn all that for you” when other people began to order in our group. he even went to as far to say “wow you got money”. we requested another server & let him know his jokes were messed up & he completely ignored up , took our order & never came back to us. he didn’t once check on us nor did he come give us the food. we had to walk to the counter 2 times to get refills because everybody was helping other people while our server ignored us after his commentary & body shaming. i have never been so disgusted with a grown mans adult. we asked for his name to report back to manager & he began to say he wasn’t comfortable with telling us his name as if he didn’t already ruin our dinner & make us extremely uncomfortable. food was mid & the service was extremely disgusting. your better off going to...

I had an amazing time at The Kickin’ Crab in Hawaiian Gardens! The moment I stepped in, the lively, beachy vibe and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu is a seafood lover’s dream, with fresh Cajun-style boils that pack a flavorful punch. I ordered the Kickin’ Combo #1 with shrimp, crawfish, and mussels in their signature Kickin’ sauce (mild for me, but still had a nice zing!). The seafood was perfectly cooked, and the corn, potatoes, and smoky sausage soaked up the sauce beautifully—every bite was a burst of spicy, sweet, and tangy goodness.

The hands-on, bib-and-gloves experience added to the fun, and the staff was super helpful, explaining the menu and checking in just enough to keep things smooth. The garlic noodles on the side were a standout, perfectly seasoned and a great complement to the boil. The place was clean, casual, and great for groups, with plenty of parking to boot. The crab & the seasoning were on point. The shrimp was chewy. For some reason they set me by the door by myself right next to a room with a party of 15, instead of sitting me away from the drafty door, I had to put my coat on. There were a few empty tables amongst other tables with customers. But I was set by myself by the drafty door. I was to sick & tired to say anything & gave them the benefit of the doubt. Than the 40$ bag came. I realized I only ate similar cousin a decade ago, so I ask how to eat it. Was told with my hands out of the bag or dump it. I started to question my decision to order this messy food & eat it with my new 100$ nails. Fortunately they didn’t get damaged.
