Mariscos Tijuana — Restaurant in Hawthorne

I had never been before so I was skeptical. They say you can't judge a book by its cover. The meal was delicious. We ordered the taquito plate with rice beans guacamole and sour cream, a large shrimp cocktail with plenty of shrimp, a michelada and coke from the glass bottle. Not sure why they call it a seafood restaurant when the selection is very limited. The menu has more selection on non seafood items than what they are advertising. The shrimp is bland the chips are stale . The positive thing is that the gentleman that served us is a nice person. I think you should be the judge on the flavor and at least try it out. The food is always prepared fresh and I always know exactly what I'm going to get, I mean the flavor is consistent. I eat here once or twice a month and my mouth waters just thinking about the salsa.
