Good tasting food,although most of the employees are a bit rude they show no interest aesthetic helping in serving customers most of the time they waste too much time talking about personal stuff which leads and then giving the customers the food cold it's a nice restaurant been going there for years but I suggest to make it better issue just rehire whole new staff from cashier cook and cleaning crew sometimes I have to ask for a rag to clean the table where I'm going to sit to eat even though they tell me it's ready for us to sit down and eat it's a shame because you have a good menu it's a nice relaxing Cafe to sit down and eat by then spending too much time with personal conversations they forget to clean after customers are done eating , I suggest as a long term customer to either retrain your staff to be more courteous and friendly to customer to be more patient and natural rude or maybe just rehire a whole new staff last time I was there was feb 23 Most of the employees where the same except for a couple young gentleman which I can't remember their name but if you look in the HR department they were hired not too long ago I go there every week and the week prior to the week that I said I went they were not there I would like to give an excellent review on these couple of young man they were courteous friendly fast and very polite these are the kind of people Lucky Star Cafe should have working there I go to a clinic across the street every week once a week but it was very discouraged to go there because of the attitude of the employees that have been there for a while I had my lunch I use the restroom on my way out I asked if I could have just a cup of ice water between my husband and my kids we spend $46 plus tip and I believe that was either the manager or the cook that told one of these friendly gentleman to charge me for that I did make a point to tell them I just needed a small glass just to take some diabetes medication that I have to take but the manager said it didn't matter that I would have to pay.... I didn't expect an answer like the new nice gentleman that helped me seemed a bit embarrassed but I told them not to worry have to keep up the good work unfortunately most of the places have that management. I ended up by thanking him for his good service and ask them not to get discouraged just to do his job the best you can just like he has been doing and it's only because of him that I might consider bringing my family back to eat there. He was very polite and thank me for it and even apologized for his coworkers. That's a shame cuz like I said I've been going there for years and years the food is very good Kalos homemade style and now I really have to think twice before I go it's a shame that because of lack of experience or lack of Common Sense these nice cafes might one day and up broke YouTube lack of customers I would suggest taking your employees to a seminar I'm how to treat people right now our country is going through so much that this is at least we expect from anyone right now we should be more united than ever. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had high hopes for this place when I entered it, it seemed nice, but the service⦠One thing that bothered me was how you would see your order ready to be delivered to youā a waitress would pick it up and be on their way to you but then go back to the counter where your food was before, then come back to you. I hated that, like if you have my food just bring it to me, you should know itās mine. At one point the waitress was giving my fatherās menudo to another table the waitress took it back to the counter top went back to the table then the people at that table told the waitress that the menudo was for our table. That wasnāt cool. I noticed after that the other table did have 2 menudos but it seemed as thought the waitress had no idea.
Secondly and this was the deal breaker for me, they put the receipt of my order inbetween my French toast, that was just appalling, I donāt want my food to be touching anything foreign. It was just disgusting. The employees who deliver food donāt have aprons, these people can just come from their houses and start serving you food, that does not follow the health guidelines.
Lastly, the servers and just about everyone I saw working here were slow, thereās no hustle everyone is taking their sweet time to deliver food, and do their tasks, I didnāt like seeing that. Wonāt be coming back. Really hope they can improve though.
So they kind of redeemed themselves, they gave me a new plate of French toast and they were delicious, I appreciated that, thank you. At the end I also saw some workers picking up the slack. Thereās hope for...
