I'm giving 2 stars because everyone that works there are all very nice! As for the food, it gets zero...Everything is OVERLY seasoned!! Tons of seasonings in the house (oil/vinegar) dressing...Also tasted so sweet as if sugar was added...Hot antipasta was overcooked eggplant rollatini and bitter tasting ricotta, stuffed clams stuffed with tons of soggy bread Crumbs (I didn't find a clam), muscles that were fishy with watery sauce as if frozen...The fried zucchini sticks were actually pretty good...I ordered cheese tortellini in vodka sauce with shrimp...In all my life, I have never seen a vodka sauce that looks like a bottle of Italian seasonings dropped in it!! (See picture below) In fact, vodka sauce has fresh basil and no other visible seasonings! I had about 5 tortellini and 1 shrimp and instantly felt sick...it was SOOOO salty and fishy! I was so nauseous when i got home, I actually vomited!! My husband got the eggplant parm dinner...The eggplant was soggy, floating in sauce and loaded with over seasoned old tasting sauce...They were very nice to take the vodka sauce dinner off our tab and charged us for the house salad that comes with it...my husband didn't finish his dinner and took the rest home only to throw it away when we got home. I've only had pizza here one time before...its not bad but again over seasoned sauce! I thought the food would be different. The place was packed by the time we left...Apparently people really like their food.. Take it from someone that is 1st generation Italian, tomato sauce should taste like tomatoes not like the seasonings you put in there...Less is always better! My advice is that anyone that comes from a 1st or even 2nd generation Italian family should stay home and cook.

Incredible service! Felt extremely welcomed and appreciated by the staff when dining here. The food was fantastic. The chicken francese was very tender and flavorful. The penne alla vodka was delicious. The eggplant rollatini was super yummy, especially the cheese. The garlic bread was perfect. I loved my food and I’m looking forward to returning with friends. I was helped by three different staff members and the service from all 3 of them was outstanding, very polite, punctual, and kind. The atmosphere is a classic NJ Italian American restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place.

Villa Rosa is one of those places that just makes you feel at home. I’ll never forget the first time stepping inside and being greeted with a big smile—and all the Yankee memorabilia instantly took me back to my childhood. As for the food, the pizza is absolutely amazing. My go-to orders are the Alfredo chicken and broccoli and the meatball parm—both cooked to perfection every time. Love this place and always look forward to coming back!

Villa Rosa is a great local Pizzeria and Restaurant. They serve quality pizza for dine in or take out with many options on toppings. The seating area for the restaurant has both booths and tables. The menu is extensive and there are daily specials. It is BYOB and soft drinks are available to order. Food is well prepared and very tasty. Portions are large.

The tip is to enjoy one of the complete dinner specials between M-W at Villa Rosa. On Monday it is Spaghetti with Meatballs or Sausage. Tuesday is Ziti day and Wednesday is Shells. The dinner comes with soup, salad, the main course and desert with coffee or tea. The meal is very well prepared and better yet is all you can eat. Portions are huge but you can get more if you want. It's well worth it.

Finally and not least important, service is always great. The staff is friendly and treat you well. They definitely enjoy seeing repeat customers and you'll want to come back.

If you are a fan of Yankees memorabilia there's a great collection to be seen including a couple of seats from the stadium.

Definitely a favorite...

Been getting food from them for years and we're usually happy with what we get, but yesterday we were very disappointed. We got a delivery of about $60 worth of food and it was mediocre at best. The biggest disappointment was the cavitelli and broccoli in garlic and oil, which is usually very good. What i got was macaroni with some broccoli in chicken broth. When i called, not to complain per say but to make them aware, the owner at first tried to sound surprised, then told me he ran out of cavitelli and had to run to the store to get some and bought a different brand. I told him it's macaroni and he got testy and said basically what do you want me to do? I have other customers and hung up. Hello? Really? Terrible...
