Rico Mac Taco — Restaurant in Hayward

Pros: the employees there are super nice and friendly. There's plenty of parking available. The star of their show is definitely the al pastor. It's so flavorful and marinated wonderfully. Definitely get that as your choice of meat for whatever you order. The burritos were also a good solid size as well.

Cons: Certain meats costs more but is not noted on the menu so I felt a bit blindsided when I ordered. I got lengua tacos and each taco was $1 more cause it was considered a special meat. Made each taco almost $5 at that point. Also the lengua was so bland and flavorless; just tasted like it was boiled in water. Again, get the al pastor instead. Also, chips were store bough quality rather than fried in house.

This is a hidden little treasure . The food is always great and fresh . Made to order . The staff is so nice and friendly they go out of there way to make you happy . The prices are just right . Plenty of space to eat in a nice airy tiled dining space .. They also have a taco tuesday $1.25 each for simple mexican tacos ..
