4 reviews 1.0 star rating 12/1/2017 This place has some of the most disrespectful and dishonest people I have ever encountered in the restaurant business. I was trying to make a delivery for Doordash and entered their restaurant to find a line of 5-10 people waiting for their food at the pickup line. That was the first red flag. I asked the man about my order and gave him the name of my order. Usually, when I do this, the person at the counter looks up the order and gives me their order, because by the time I get there, the order should already be ready. The man, who was wearing PAJAMAS, seemed to not care about my order at all, said 10 minutes. So, I waited 10 minutes, thinking that they were making it. I waited a total of 30 minutes before asking the guy again if my order was ready. When they said it wasn't, I knew something was up. I called a Doordash representative and they called the restaurant, only to find out they THEY DIDN'T EVEN START THE ORDER YET. Then, when I asked them how long the order was going to take, they told me 10 minutes. Then, they asked me to list out their order, because THEIR DOORDASH APP WASN'T WORKING. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT THE APP WASN'T WORKING IN THE FIRST PLACE SO WE COULD HAVE RESOLVED THIS PROBLEM EARLIER?!?! This place has absolutely no decency and respect for their customers. I would not suggest coming to this disgusting place where the server...
Read moreI’ve been coming here since 2008. My entire family comes here. I was here four months ago no issues food was delicious. We always come here because the food was authentic and so delicious BUT TODAY! Let me tell you! I asked for chai (how dare they call it that!) was just milk & sugar it was lighter than my skin! Told him take it back it’s awful there wasn’t even a hint of elachi in it smh. The paneer pakora was good. Then came the butter chicken: how do you as Indians mess up butter chicken??? It’ was watery, no salt, very pikaa, chicken chopped into TINY pieces. All out gross. I think it was old because now my mom cannot stop throwing up. When it was time to pay the bill they were still charging me to the tea! I returned them full cups of tea and the guy said “oh well you ordered it” and I said you made it terrible. He had the audacity to tell me “we always make tea like this no one ever complained” cannot believe he spoke to me like I don’t know how tea is supposed to taste like. (Mind you I am Indians as well) but he took it off. buddy now I know why your restaurant was empty. Usually it’s busy in there. I didn’t recognize anyone that worked in there so I am assuming new management and cook. The music was so loud my mom was shouting to talk to me. And let me not forget to mention the portion of the food it was so small. Time to say goodbye...

WE went there 2 days ago (5/11/16) for the first time. Read the reviews, learned about the 'famous' fish pakora. We looked at the extensive menu and remembered to order them. SIMPLY WONDERFUL, they.
We also ordered the Bhindi Masala - excellently done... not overcooked, not over-dry, not over-spicy, but essentially amongst the best I've tasted in this long life. Also, the Chicken Korma... another classic. Creamy Korma sauce, delightfully loaded with chicken chunks.
The Naan was piping hot, crispy on outside, chewy on inside. Having learned my Indian table manners, I ate entirely without touching the silverware... just with pads of Naan... It felt like college days.
The waiter was great, explained everything. The place is not fancy-looking, but it isn't a 'hole in the wall' either.
THANK YOU, Tandoor Restaurant. Quite good for a first-time experience!
(PS: Ignore the negative reviews of Sundeep and Kwesi... Sundeep is a student expecting ''Indian-in-India'' prices, and Kwesi is just being a troll. The food might not have amused Kwesi, but that's because (s)he isn't experienced with really good...
