Alfredo's Brick Oven Pizza — Restaurant in Hazle Township

Had a pleasant overall experience! Food: We went with the garlic knots, meat lovers and Alfredo special personal pizzas. Garlic knots: 6.8/ 10 It seems as though these were baked close together which gave it a softer overall texture. I am on the side of crisp and fluffy. It had great garlic and butter flavor to them, but could have used some parmesan cheese. (We added that at the table) Alfredo special pizza: 8/10 Crust was cooked well. It had a little too much topping for our taste. I would have dialed back the raw onion a little bit as it was a bit overwhelming. (Personal preference) Sauce was really good and the sausage was very pleasant. Meat lovers pizza: 8/10 Crust was same as above. Same with the toppings, was a bit much. Sausage again was the highlight for this pizza too. The pizza dough seemed like a fresh dough ( made same day) I prefer a more yeasty proof flavor from the dough. ( 2 or 3 day proof) I am not knocking the overall flavor as I will definitely be back again if I am ever in town. Service: 10/10 Great service! Our server was diligent and was not too frequent but good timing overall. Friendly staff gave us a nice experience. Atmosphere: 8.1/10 We really liked lighting as it was a bit more intimate like candle light. A lot of weird problems with this place.

-Parking lot was empty on a weekday afternoon.

-Prices are not correct online or on any physical menu. I paid $58 for 2 large plain pizzas, 1 with 2 toppings, and 2 sides. None of the menus I saw accurately represented what I was paying for.

-Server was very adamant about paying cash. Over the phone, she told me about the "free" ATM (it's an independently owned machine with a $.01 fee on it) and after I said "okay cool" she said "Well why pay the fee when you can use the atm for free, you know?" I've never had anyone push using an atm at their restaurant quite as aggressively as she did, which really put me off. When I got to the restaurant, I pulled out my card because I was in a rush and the server once again very adamantly told me to use the atm around the corner. This put me off even further because I was just trying to get in and get out as I was on a time crunch and the convenience of paying with a card, nevermind the fees, is just a lot quicker in most instances.

-Pizza was undercooked. You could still see whole pieces of hard shredded cheese on top of the pies.

I ordered the chicken cheese steak and the value is definitely there. The atmosphere inside was very welcoming and brought comfort on my night away from home. The entire staff was very polite and professional and I cant thank them enough for that.

I love to cook at home and find it deeply satisfying, which is why I have to give my honest opinion on the experience. The service was great, the atmosphere, very comforting, the bread itself is worth coming back for, however the chicken needs a special touch of the chefs seasoning. I found the chicken bland and in need of some life. I'm in no way knocking on the sandwich, but feel that if that chicken was seasoned and grilled, or even cooked on a flat top, it could be amazing. It just didn't have much depth in flavor. The peppers, mushrooms and onions did there job, but the chicken just needs a little magic, to make it stand out. My opinion is my own and please don't find it offensive in any way, I plan on bringing my wife here on our next night spent here.
