Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Hazlet Township

Pretty disappointing. I had the banana split for $7 and it was 3 of the smallest scoops of ice cream that I have ever had. I got pineapple, strawberry and chocolate syrup as my 3 toppings and there was not even a full bite of pineapple, I saw a piece of pineapple but it was so small that I couldn't even taste it. It wasn't even served in a long boat which every banana split that I have ever had has been served that way, the poster of the banana split on their wall showed the long boat but they served it in a tiny rounded bowl. To top it off the girl charged me 50 cents for a cup of tap water so it costs me over $8 for the smallest banana split that I have ever had with all but...

The milk shake and ice cream we ordered was great! No complaints about that for sure. The service and staff on the other hand, well they could do much better. They wanted us to hurry up and order and seemed totally disinterested in what they were doing. This when we were the only customers they had! They definately dis not like that we ordered more milk shakes than ice cream. I think it is less effort for them to scoop ice cream than it is to make the milk shakes. If you are desperate for an ice cream and really do not care about service, you get great ice cream and milk shakes here. Else, find another dairy queen...

Very clean, very friendly staff. Very convenient to stop when returning from the shore. I noticed in Google's description that DQ is a burger place, and that this store had soft ice cream. This is not a DQ Brazier, so no burgers or Chili Dogs (sorry), but it does have ice cream scoops. I also saw in the description that they only take cash: not so, they take credit cards (I think debit cards) as well. There is a good size parking lot, and benches in the back to enjoy a fine day (and maybe not have the kids drip ice cream on the car seats). Well...
