I was in Hazleton and decided to try their cold bakery pizza. I stopped at Senape's to see what they had to offer. I love local bakeries. The taste was very different than sanitary Bakery. The sauce is packed with noticable flavors that hit you once you take a bite (in a good way). I took pictures of some of the interesting items that I've never seen before. I'm excited to try the pineapple coconut buns when I get back. They also had a cold french bread style pizza that I didn't try. The people working were extremely nice. I said it was my first time and they let me try a piece of the cold pizza before buying it. I definitely recommend stopping by this place.

I grew up eating Senape's cold pizza unfortunately its just sucks anymore, its mostly sauce and barley any cheese every time I get it now, on top of that you are just lucky if you get one where the bread isn't going stale like 50-50 chance, whoever is making these pizzas now quite literally ruined some of the last good childhood memories I had, do yourself a favor get Frankie's cold pizza or even longo's, with the window in the top of the box you can actually see if you are getting a pizza or sauce on bread. Believe it or not the picture shows one of the more cheesy slices.

Nice little old school bakery. They sell some of the unsold bakery items from the day before for cheap. I came here for the pizza, and was disappointed. $10 was a good price, but the pizza was not worth the hype I've heard about. It tastes and smells like spaghetti sauce..tastes better cold than hot. The other items I bought were good though.

From the moment I walked into Senape’s Bakery, I was greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of fresh bread and pastries. But the real highlight of my visit was the service — Jennivel went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable.

Not only did Jennivel help me pick out the perfect selection of pastries (including the cheese buns that might actually be the best in the state), but she also took the time to explain the different breads and even offered pairing suggestions for coffee (tea biscuits). Everything felt personal and genuine, like I was being welcomed into a friend’s home rather than a shop.

The pastries were fresh, flavorful, and made with obvious care, but honestly, the customer service alone would keep me coming back. Senape’s Bakery is lucky to have someone like Jennivel —friendly, and truly passionate about what they do.

I’ll definitely be back… probably sooner than my diet would like!

I have had both the regular pizza and the pitza. The pitza is the main attraction. It is unique to the Hazelton, Pennsylvania area. It is similar to to pizza. The crust of the pitza is very soft (almost like bread) but it is thick. Then red sauce is poured over the dough. I thought the sauce was slightly spicy, but not too spicy, just the right amount of seasoning. Then cheese is added to the top. The pitza are square slices and served cold (room temperature). I do not like cold pizza but this is very interesting. Not at all like hot pizza that has cooled down to room temperature. I like the pitza. They also serve hot pies, which we ordered one night. It was very tasty. Not as good as New York pizza but a lot better than Domino's or Pizza Hut. The staff is very friendly. The prices...

The poppy seed buns have about 1/4 of the poppy seed filling...what were you thinking making a change like this?! We'd come from Florida to have these, a lifelong treasure since childhood that you guys managed to mess up by being cheap and cutting out almost all of the filing, and turning them into something just below a cheap gas station snack. You could at least give people the option to pay more for the original product, rather than hand over this junk with no warning when a person had 40 years of the same consistent product they are expecting. We purchased multiple different days, so it is not a fluke, and our disappointment at this decision can't be...
