Brother Bruno — Restaurant in Hazleton

First time here at Brother Bruno. Very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere walking in was a good feeling and to be greeted by the owner himself, along with his family is more welcoming. Especially as a new customer coming in. It was very nice seeing everyone helping each other out whether it’s out on the floor serving food or helping in the back taking orders over the phone. Food came out hot and ready and looked very presentable. with the food being homemade and bread being made daily, in my own opinion I believe that this restaurant deserves my five star rating. From the bread to the chicken and pasta, everything was an overall 10/10. If you are coming through the area or just wanting to find a new place to try. Stop by and give this place a try. Had dinner here tonight with family. We were looking for a place around Hazleton that we haven’t been to for a while and chose Brother Bruno’s. The cheeseburger had a good flavor but was very dry. The meatball sub sauce had a good flavor and not very acidic but didn’t come with anything, not even chips. The fries we ordered as an extra side was about half the amount that came with the cheeseburger platter and that was an extra side which of course cost more and arrived cold. The chicken parm with pasta was good. What got all of us annoyed was the attitude of the waitress. When asked what the soup of the day was she replied, “it’s just what’s listed in the menu!” She could have just said the names of the two soups and left it at that instead of being rude. Well to start off the wait was substantial with no orders. The pizza was as tasty as the box would have been, maybe the pizza box would have better flavor I'm not that adventurous but I guess I was crazy enough to bite the pizza. Next were the wings and boy oh boy how oh how can you screw up wings this badly. I've eaten wings from many different places and never have I had a place put PIZZA SAUCE on my wings. Yes pizza sauce on wings not wing sauce as ordered nope the same sauce that was on the pizza. How in the world does one screw up so monumentally as to mistake pizza sauce for wing sauce.
