Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Heath

Typical Donatos. We got there about 7:30. One larger party finishing, one couple finished, a couple of the waitresses friends. Not busy. The waitress was a hot mess. Nice girl but she had very little idea what was going on. Had a view of the kitchen and work area. One tall blond kid trying to work while another girl was just standing there talking loud throughout the whole time we were there. Apparently she was in school, didn't like school, her teachers, her job (she did nothing while we were there, 45 minutes). She talked loud and constantly. She badgered that poor guy and us by dining there. She distracted the waitress as well with her constant whining. The waitress had a hard time competing our simple order. We had to repeatedly ask for water. Everything we wanted we had to ask for again and again. She really struggled. We were the only one there at this point meanwhile the other girl babbled on and on. The manager was nowhere to be found. We had a coupon but the girl didn't use it. She was just awful. As we left the manager finally came out. Useless. We won't eat there again. The food was fine. Lots of employees standing around twiddling their thumbs....

Ordered with the app Large pep, Small cheese, Big Don Sausage, and Italian salad at 6:40 pm Friday, January 28th. Estimated delivery on app was 7:37 pm. 8:06 pm called the store. Were told, "We got slammed, it is out for delivery. Call back in a half-hour if it wasn't delivered". At 8:45 pm I called back and our Sub was still there but the pizza went out. The girl on the phone said, "The sub is here but the pizza went out. I don't know what's going on." She asked did we want the order re-made. She said we would have our pizza in 45 minutes. My wife canceled the order. This type of service is unacceptable. Obviously, your store management is incapable of a busy Friday night. If you can't manage the app then you should get new programmers. If you cannot manage a busy night then get a competent manager and provide adequate training. If you are short staff then cut your profits and increase the salary of your line staff. This is not the first time this store has provided poor service and cold pizza. I have been eating Domino's pizza my whole life and live just 2 miles from them. If you eat in the restaurant you'll have excellent service and food, but if you order delivery there's a good chance it will be cold, missing items and sub standard. I order the same thing ever time and it's always missing something, cold and food is substandard. When I talked to a manager about it today, he was sarcasttic, rude and didn't apologize, offer an explanation... nothing. I've never experienced anything like it. He kept making me repeat it and half laughing about it. WHOEVER PUT THIS MAN IN CHARGE MUST BE OUT OF THEIR MIND!!!! I can't imagine Donatos wanting this man to represent their company. I know I won't be calling them for delivery again and will probably make the drive to another Donatos and give them my business....or just give up on them altogether. They are one of the most expensive anyway- Pizza lovers beware! FYI- this is the Donatos on 79 in Heath. If you're looking for something better...Don and Sue's is always awesome and has excellent service if you're looking for a better pizza and customer...
