Los Amigos — Restaurant in Helendale

I have been eating here since Los Amigos opened. The quality has steadily slipped over the last few months. We've provided feedback to the staff and no one seems genuine about what we have to say. Today was the last and final time we will ever eat at Los Amigos. Every single item ordered did not match the ingredients listed on the menu. I asked for extra sides of sour cream and green sauce, was charged for them, and then never received them. The "burritos" were nothing more than canned re fried beans drowning in sauce with a tortilla somewhere in the mix. Unappetizing to look at and even worse to try to eat. When I called to politely inquire about the missing sides and awful burritos, I was argumentatively told that they were "busy" and were unable to do anything about the inedible food. Roughly $40 dollars, zero customer service, and general apathy towards legitimate concerns means I can not recommend Los Amigos nor will I eat there ever again. I will also not patron the owner's other restaurants and establishments in the community including Fratelli's Pizzeria due to the shameful lack of customer service. Edit: Been here alot of times now! I love this place. Not a local, but everytime I'm doing business in the area, I'm sure to drop by. Great staff, great location and great food. Highly recommended 10/10. I get the bacon Breakfast Burrito with no potato...... YUM!

Second time around wasn't as good as the first time.. Still good though! The staff here are great. Really want to try a cheeseburger next time.

Past Visit: I ordered a breakfast burrito here and some street tacos... whoooooo whee!! That is some dang good food! I really recommend this place whether you're In the area or you've got to travel like I did.. Way worth the drive! Until 3months ago I never heard of Helendale or Silver Lakes or Los Amigos. But here I am now living in Silver Lakes. Anyway Los Amigos is a super cool and funky Mexican restaurant with really good food. The prices are a little high but I think most people can handle it without regrets. The Service is top notch and the young lady that helped us was amazing, her name is Lennon. Please forgive me if I spelled your name wrong.. Anyway I recommend this one highly. If you don't know about Los Amigos in Silver Lakes, it's worth the drive. Located out here in the Mojave desert between Victorville and Barstow but not near any freeway.
