1st time eating at this restaurant last night. It was closing time in which we confirmed if It would be ok to order. My cousin referred me there. My 1st complaint the lady that took my order was very polite yet that was not the problem. My order came out to $49.89. I started to pay by card but I decided to pay cash. I handed the lady $60.00. She was interrupted by someone in the kitchen then she began to take my cousin order. I sat across from the register and remembered I was not given back my change nor did I receive a receipt of my order. I address the lady about by change and the receipt. We'll she remembered she did not give me a receipt but swore she gave me my change. I let that go. I received my order and as I was on my way home I kept smelling something bad that almost caused me to throw up. While heading home I stayed in contact with my cousin and told her that the food smells bad. I get home and open it. We'll the fish was soggy and very salty. Now I love me some salt but that was crazy. The Ora was not crunchy and it too was sweaty. At this point I am getting mad so I tried the ribs and it was not good either. I called my cousin back and she just kept apologizing to me. She had eaten there once with no issues except she did say that she forgot to let me know to request no seasoning on the ribs cause they are salty. I did not understand that cause good ribs require no seasoning nor sause. I never give a reviews but after having my money stolen and the food not good someone needed to know my concerns. I chalked it up too I did come at closing and they just wanted to go home. I'm sorry for my inconveniencing you you...

Me and my mom just moved back into the area so we’re penny pinching due to the move but when a craving hits a craving HITS! I looked everywhere for a THICK SLICED brisket sandwich and that’s all I literally wanted so I found this place on maps. So I sent my mom due to strong smells making me nauseous so I end up not wanting to eat no matter how hungry I get and didn’t want to risk the smell. Well she gets home over an hour later telling me her card wasn’t working, she went to an atm and it still wasn’t working, went back and told them she had some cash but she needed just one sandwich at least for her pregnant daughter at home (me lol) bc she couldn’t afford the rest of the food and they gave it to her for FREE 😭 so even though I haven’t gone here yet I’m so thankful they gave her the sandwich for free bc I already felt guilty asking her to spend money on food and sending her to get lost so i really appreciate the kindness they showed my mom today and YES THE SANDWICH WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS CRAVING!!! Brisket was thick and soft, the bread wasn’t dry or TOO much breading compared to meat, overall good people making good brisket and can’t wait to be able to go up there myself and continue enjoying their bbq! Thank you guys so much for today we really appreciate you guys!!! (Btw not a crumb...

I really enjoyed the area with the rustic atmosphere and cozy, at-home feeling this establishment provides. They have a stage in the yard and looks like they have live music.

The prices are market prices so it will fluctuate depending on when you go. I went with my family and between the four of us we spent around $56. I ordered the brisket sandwich. The sides are separate and come in various sizes. I had a jalapeño bread, instead of white, such ended up being more sweet than spicy. However the bread was very soft and tasty. The brisket itself was tender and moist. I'm no expert but I do know this was better than brisket you'd get from Rudy's. The mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and exactly the way I enjoy it. The potato salad was okay. I tried some of my brother's jalapeño cheese sausage and that wasn't that great. It tasted like store-bought sausage. They had two sauces and both tasted very sweet. One should have been spicy but it wasn't. The one thing that bothered me was they had sliced bread next to the condiments. Like you could grab a loaf and put it back once you got enough. I wouldn't have a problem with this but there were no tongs to grab them; it seems like this could be a sanitary issue.

Other than that it was a good spot to...

Some of the best I’ve ever had. I got the 3 meat plate for $21 that comes with 2 sides. Got brisket, turkey, and sweet tea glazed ribs. Got sides of green beans and borracho beans. The sweet tea glazed ribs were a 10/10 When you first bite into one, you get that sweet tea flavor but it’s not just on the surface like a sauce, it’s cooked into the rib. The meat holds onto the bone but you don’t need any effort to bite it off. The meat is insanely tender and cooked evenly over the rib. Nothing is tough, dry, overcooked, undercooked, or inedible. They got this great bark too that just makes it perfect. Best ribs I’ve ever had. Turkey was a solid 9.3/10. Super super tender, moist, and had a great bark. It ain’t your grandmas thanksgiving turkey. Will get this again. Brisket was an 8.7/10. Great flavor, great bark. Was pretty tender. Gave me two big slices, didn’t skimp at all. Green beans came as a surprising 9.8/10. Insane flavor. The bacon and onions in it are cooked perfectly and make this a must try. Borracho beans were an 8.1/10. Pretty dang good but I’ve had better. Would be great if they’d add some jalapeños or serrano peppers in there. The 3 meat plate was $21 + a beer + tax + 15% tip = $33 total Def gotta check this place out. They don’t mess around.

Several years ago I had B-Daddy's from a food truck during a Helotes Jazz Fest, and was incredibly impressed. I noticed recently that they have a physical location, so I was excited for some local BBQ goodness. I got the brisket sandwich, my husband got the pulled pork sandwich, and we got green beans (very peppery), creamed corn (perfectly sweet), and macaroni. I love Texas bbq but usually sides at a BBQ joint aren't good. That isn't true for B-Daddy's. These were the best sides I've ever had at a BBQ restaurant. The white bread buns for our sandwiches were slightly sweet and toasted with a dollop of butter. All the employees were respectful and helpful. The cashier gave us a paper bag to take home leftovers. There's lids for your sides near the drink fountain. There's both inside and outside seating. There's even a playground for kids within a fenced area. I'm super impressed with how easy it was to order, get our food, pay, and have everything we needed within easy reach. Do yourself a favor and support this local BBQ joint. They deserve the love. They're closed Mondays.
