China Palace Restaurant — Restaurant in Henderson

I've gone here numerous times over the years. Today (5/11/2024) was a horrible experience. Most of the food was not warm or hot. Atmosphere was horrible, children running around causing a scene, and an odd character playing his laptop loudly beside my table. An employee was eating out of a container from the walk in, in the dining room.

The boiled shrimp seemed to have dirt or grim in it, the egg drop soup had the consistency of mucus, sushi tasted as if it was shipped across the world. Absolutely dreadful.

One of the older gentleman employees or maybe the owner gave the check way early, as if to rush me out. I had only gotten 2 small plates at this time.

My first time there. I went on 6/16/24 on Father's Day. Went with family. The food wasn't good and the waitress wasn't friendly. I had a child(1 yrs old). I was charged 8.60 for a one year old! I spoke with the manager and told her why was I charged for a one year old? She kept asking me is she one years old? I repeatedly told her yes! She told me she was going to charge me half price for a one year old! I told her, no ma'am I'm not paying for her at all!! The manager was very, very rude! My wife and I been driving here to Henderson's best kepted secret for over 2 years and when I tell you that the food here is On Point it's a watered down statement! This restaurant is Consistent and Persistent the atmosphere is very welcoming. I live in Longview and have eaten at all the Asian Buffets in the area... including the Mall. Maybe some of the owners need to take a Recon Mission to China Palace and take notes. It's not about adding different things to the menu.
