Jucys Hamburgers — Restaurant in Henderson

On a recent Saturday I ordered from the overpriced - when compared to what you actually receive that’s edible- menu. The 2 tacos were okay; but. the $11 steak burrito plate was a disgusting mess. I can’t believe a place would turn out such low quality. The beans were too salty; there were masses of them stuck together (whole, hard, cold) with globs of grease and cheese on top. The “steak” between the big tortilla was stringy, gristly, too salty and seemed to grow larger when chewed. There were more of the beans clumps globbed on though out. Then it was drowned in cheese grease and an inedible sauce. The sauce was as if someone had lost the lid on the salt barrel and didn’t even taste it before heating it up in microwave. We've always been jucys hamburgers fans. We've made lots of trips to Longview to eat there. We were back in Henderson from out of town for a personal matter. We decided to eat here on our way out. The burger patties tasted boiled, my wife and I couldn't figure out what was wrong and then it hit us that that's exactly what it tasted like. IDK if the grill isn't seasoned or what the deal was but the patties just weren't good, my burger just wasn't up to spec to the great jucys hamburgers I've had in my life to compare it to which are some of the best burgers I've had from a restaurant. These burgers just weren't good to me, even the cheese tasted off to me. The onion rings were killer and the beans were as expected. They were great. I wouldn't say the staff is friendly but I can't say they were rude, they were just there....
