I live in the area, and have ordered from here many times over the past 3 years. I have eaten in, ordered over the phone, and ordered online from their website. The food is amazing and the service is "usually" good.
I ordered online from their website (in October I believe), as I have done before. After about an hour I was concerned why our food hadn't arrived. My wife called and was told that they missed the order in their computer. No problem. I didn't complain and gave them the benefit of the doubt. They must not get a lot of orders from their website. It's a small business and mistakes happen. They threw some spring rolls in as a courtesy.
Once again in November, I ordered on their website again. Again we waited over an hour and our food had not arrived. My wife called and was first told our food was out for delivery. Moments later they changed their story and said the food had already been delivered. They said they would re-make the food and re-deliver it, which is fine. I feel as if we were lied to though because this isn't the first time our online order was extremely late, and they had admitted to missing our order in the past. Our order which we placed at 3:20pm didn't arrive until almost 5:00pm. They didn't even offer anything as a courtesy for the issue.
The food is great here. The service is so-so, but some of the staff are great. I just don't want to feel like I'm being lied to. Eat here, the food it great. Don't...
Read moreNestled in the Anthem community and indistinguishable from the assorted businesses in the Albertsons plaza is this restaurant, many who probably wouldn't give the location a second pass due to its name or outside appearance. But this restaurant is a perfect example to never judge it by its name, location or outside appearance. The owner addresses everyone by their first name and remembers their orders, likes and dislikes. The owner and his family and employees are very respectful, courteous and polite, making customer service expectations their top priority. The food was spectacular; seasoned and cooked perfectly and served in the right portion size. It tasted just like how a traditional family would cook it, not a recipe thrown together and repeated by a line chef. No, its grandpa and the Uncle Rogers cooking it, banging the woks over intense heat and using their years of experience cooking the food. If the food was presented on expensive porcelain and served in a top restaurant at the Four Seasons, you'd never guess it came from China Tango. The restaurant got it down and definitely has potential to grow beyond...
Read moreThis used to be a decent standby option for quick and reasonably priced Chinese food. The food has never been great, but decent for sure. It was always cooked to order and quickly at that. Unfortunately I recently ordered via Uber Eats with a 10-15 minute wait time listed until ready for pickup. Once I made my order I had a couple of errand stops prior to arrival. I arrived 45 minutes after placing my order figuring it might be a little cold but would be fine with that. When I arrived they said my order was still being cooked and it would be another 20-30 minutes. I asked for a refund and they said “ok” and canceled it via the Uber eats program. I was not refunded any money since Uber shows that the restaurant marked my order as refused/cancelled after the fact. There was no apology or attempt to remedy the situation while I was there. I understand things taking a few minutes longer than estimated, but over an hour longer is too much. Not...
