Edit: went to flag the charge with AMEX, and it looks like they refunded about a half hour after the incident, after saying they would NOT refund. I still STRONGLY recommend going elsewhere.
WARNING! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! When they mess up your order AND take an hour longer than estimated to deliver, they will not refund your money. THIS IS MY FIRST NEGATIVE ONLINE REVIEW EVER.
Ordered 2 pizzas, 1 2 liter mountain dew and 2 sauces on the side. Estimated delivery was 4:46 PM. The app said out for delivery at about 4:40pm. Waited for the pizza for thirty minutes after it said out for delivery. I called at 5:10 and asked them if its still coming. They said it is out for delivery. The app, at 5:28pm said it has been delivered. We searched the front of our house. No pizza.
I called back, and they said she is just pulling up now. She handed the pizzas and a bag to us. The pizzas were barely warm at this point, they gave us a DIET mountain dew instead of regular mountain dew, and NEITHER of the sauces were with the order.
I called again, the girl on the phone was being extremely rude when i explained the situation. I said at this point, i would like a refund. She put me on hold for 10 minutes, then came back on the phone and said no refund but they would deliver the mountain dew and sauces. She asked if i wanted to talk to the manger, I said yes. She put me on hold for 10-15 minutes and then someone on their end hung up the call.
My wife took the pizzas back, with the diet mountain dew. They tried saying we are trying to scam them and would not issue a refund. They called the police because she said she is not leaving without a refund. The police said they wish they could force them to issue a refund, because after she explained it to them, they agreed with her. Marcos then trespassed her.
Serious issues with this location. What the hell is going on? The manager or owners actions are surreal...
Read moreI’ll begin when I called for a delivery order. I asked if there was a delivery fee? Yes, $5.00. I was literally 2 building away. I asked why? That’s what we charge for delivery. Unfortunately I am in semi tractor picking up ice cream. But she didn’t want to listen or care. She proceeded to say “have a nice day” and hang up the phone. So I called back, she answered rudely and said we will not do business with you. I was totally amazed by her attitude. So, I decided to call back and hang up on her. I did this 4 times to let her know how it feels. Nevertheless, I put the order on the app and walked over to the location. Everyone was very nice. I was a little shocked. I was expecting someone very rude. But I was wrong. Let’s get to the order. I got a medium pineapple pizza. Ordered light cheese and heavy red sauce because I think the taste is in the sauce. Whoever made this pizza did a great job with the requirements. I mean they knock it out of the park. My only small complaint is the shortage of pineapple around the edge of the pizza. There could have been more at the edge. Score for the pizza A-. Great job! Know let’s talk about the 6” chicken sandwich. The size didn’t look like 6”. The bacon on the sandwich was not good. Very dark and didn’t taste like bacon. I asked for red sauce without the mayonnaise. That was made correctly. Appreciate that help. I have allergies with eggs. I wish they would have cooked the sandwich with the sauce on it in the oven. The cheese was great. I got provolone. Great pull and taste. The chicken had no flavor. Overall the sandwich was a not that great. I’ve give that’s a D. Overall food was a C+. They didn’t give me any napkins or plates. But that’s what has come of the pizza business. This Marco’s location has been getting better at their deliveries and pizza making in recent orders. I’m updating my review from a two star to a five star. I think this location deserves it. I ordered one pizza and a side of wings. The order came at the expected time, which is about twenty minutes later than the website predicts, but that’s kind of expected with cooking time and drive time. The pizza I ordered came with a lot of extra pepperoni, which I was pleased with. I didn’t ask for extra pepperoni, but it’s kind of one of those happy accident moments. The delivery guy was very friendly and gave us extra crushed red pepper and Parmesan. Overall, with the discounts I get, it was a pleasant ordering experience this time. My original review is below.
I ordered three large pizzas from this location and one of them was not cut, which is frustrating because I do not have a pizza cutter at home. The whole point of ordering pizza online is that part of the amount that you pay includes them cutting the pizza for you. They also didn’t leave me the full receipt with the information I need to leave feedback online. When I went online to try and leave feedback without a receipt code, it takes me to a page that prompts me to order a pizza. I just ordered a pizza, I don’t want to order another one! Other than the frustration of not having a pizza cut and that I was not able to leave feedback online, the pizza is good. The mushrooms are obviously canned and gross though.
