I’ve been here a lot for smoothies and a few times for food. Let me just say that today was not a good day, I decided to place a pickup order of this 100% gf safe food so I could swing through after picking my dog up from grooming, during a POTs flare up. I ordered a smoothie, pack of cookies, and a pizza (so almost everything was ready made) and it took 20 minutes to be ready. I arrived via the drive thru since I had my dog with me and was not doing well, only to be told that I had to go to the pickup window up front even though my order wasn’t even ready at this point?? No where on the website or when I placed my order did it say I had to go to a certain spot only for pick up. But okay I wait several minutes for them to serve the car in front of me so I can exit the drive thru and park and go up to the pickup window. I wait for a little bit before someone comes to the window and says I actually needed to go to the locker room tucked away next door.. It’s 95 degrees outside and I’m ready to pass out trying to chase my “quick pickup order” all while my dog is sitting unattended in my parked car. I finally get my food and it was less than great to say the least. The pizza I’ve had multiple times before had a bitter burnt taste and the cookies I paid $5 for are smaller and thinner than a chips ahoy cookie and also freezing cold!! I’ve had Celiac Diease for 15 years and even I was shocked at how small these gluten free cookies were for the price. I went back to the website to confirm and it does not say mini cookies anywhere, and the photo is done in a way that makes them look like full size cookies. My order of a small burnt personal pizza, simple smoothie, and the worlds tiniest cookies was almost $30!! I’m all for the convenience of safe gluten free food, but these prices, dwindling product sizes, and lack of communication/service really have me second guessing if...
Read moreWe ordered the Cacio e Pepe and Parmesan Truffle pizzas, and both were delicious. Despite being gluten-free, which gave the crust a slightly doughy texture, they were still quite enjoyable. We also tried the Daring Vegan Breaded Chicken Strips, but unfortunately, they lacked flavor.
For dessert, we had the chocolate cupcake, banana chocolate chip cupcake, chocolate chip sandwich, and the chocolate thin mints. All of them were tasty, especially for vegan options. Though the portions are small and bite-sized, they're definitely worth trying. The highlight was the Chocolate Monkey Kids Smoothie, made with fresh ingredients and perfect for a hot day—refreshing and delicious.
The owner of the restaurant served us, and her passion for using fresh ingredients and creating a healthy work environment for her team was evident. Overall, it's a great spot for a quick bite, and I would definitely...
Read moreOUT OF TOWN CUSTOMER REVIEW : We are from the state of VA and are staying at the Westin at the lake. This is one of the closest places to get food if you're staying there. We wanted a quick light brunch. We ordered 2 of the breakfast sandwiches and 1 of the cheese pizzas, then 2 smoothies. Our total was $51 which I thought was insane. However, they have a gluten free menu and vegan food, so I'm assuming part of the pricing was based on that. Our food was actually really tasty so I'm happy for that, I just didn't quite like how expensive it was 😅 I think everything we got would have been worth maybe $30 if it wasn't GF or vegan. Good food though if you aren't on a budget like we are! There is also a large covered patio with lots of seating to...
