Read moreUsually love Taco John's but this experience is one that I wish I could have taken back. The first thing I noticed when walking in was that the restaurant was a complete mess. The floor was sticky and everything that I interacted with was grimy. The kitchen looked like a bomb had gone off and it was not a great first impression. The person taking our order was nice enough, but kind of seemed out of it. It seemed like 2 out of the three people working at the time were high or something. After getting our receipt, the total seemed a bit high. Talking to the person up front again it seemed like the stuff that they were charging for was not super well communicated, but ultimately was not their fault just bs company policies. Upon leaving the restaurant, we found that we were missing both of our orders of potatoes, even though there was one of the designated workers exclusively on that station. Thankfully I was able to go back inside and get those quickly but after the presentation, confusing charges, and overall subpar customer service I was regretting stopping there. I would not recommend...
Read moreI used to stop at ths place to eat back in the early 2ks. Was clean, and the food was good. Fast fwd to last wk. I parked my trk and trlr, wlkd a mile to get there and was severely disappointed. The lobby floor was greasy and slippery, looking behind the counter i saw the same thing, plus food stuffs on the floor. There were 2 ppl there. One was in the lobby with his feet up in the chair and on his phn either texting, or playing a game. Neither of them ever acknowledged my presence( the store was not crazy with business) i was inside, and there ws one car in the drive thru. After seeing the state of the food prep areas, i walked out and went nxt door to "Wendy's" which was not what i wanted, but at least i thought the service areas would be cleaner than where i was. Needless to say i have added Taco Johns to my list of "places not to eat". Pay attention to the surrounding conditions where you get your food. May keep you from...
