This was the second time we dined here in the past month. First time was outside on the patio; slow service, cold coffee and mediocre food served. However, the server was friendly, apologized for the slow kitchen. We decided to try again, this time make reservations for a party six inside at 1 PM. Thinking this would give us better service after the breakfast and lunch crowd. We were seated immediately, however, we were not served our food for 1 hour and 15 minutes after we placed our order. We even had a starter of monkey bread, but that came 30 minutes after we sat with only water and not any of the drinks we ordered, like iced coffee, drip coffee and lemonades. There were a handful of servers working along with what look like management. We were not the only table that waited; several tables seated before us, still waiting on their food prior to us getting ours. No matter how many times we ask, can we have a cup of coffee now or can you please tell us when the food is coming out, may we have forks and napkins, etc. Everything just took long time. The servers were very nice, kind, big smiles and trying to do their best. They were hosting an outside patio event, which seemed to be the priority, but people kept coming in from the outside, asking for their items and food. The kitchen clearly could not keep up the pace. We spent $182 plus a tip on six people for breakfast. I spent $16 on the picture I’m including called MC Sami. The presentation was underwhelming. After reading the menu online, I realize they forgot to add the salad to my plate. And the two pancakes seem to be the substitute for the bun? Plate had smudged finger prints. Two orders of Biscuits and Gravy, Both over salted biscuits were difficult to eat. The monkey bread was good, The Farmers Breakfast was basic, but turned out good. The Frenchie was small serving and bland. Not ideal for a big guy to eat. Mac and Cheese waffles with chicken was mid. Nothing special, nothing fantastic like the photos on website. All plates served to us seem to lack detail as if somebody forgot to pay attention. It was actually not too clean either. Wait staff had long hair hanging down, and the men had so much facial hair. Doesn’t seem hygienic when handling food. I had to send back my first empty coffee cup, since it had target sticker on the bottom hanging not properly washed off. The last person to receive their meal got it when the first person was already finished with their meal at our table. I live in the area across the street. I was hoping this would replace the need for a good breakfast spot to bring family and friends throughout the week. I hope they improve. I hope I hear better feedback than ours. And I’m happy for everyone else who had a great experience from the reviews. We just haven’t the...
Read moreThe Parlour in Henderson….I reviewed the original Parlour on Carson street downtown recently and was very impressed with the quality of the food. I was looking forward to doing extensive review of the sister restaurant also named the “Parlour” as well, (”Parlour” is the Kings english spelling of “Parlor.”) The restaurant is a bit bigger inside and has some unique dishes only here in the Henderson location. Mandy the pastry chef whips up some amazing creations. The Monkey bread is absolutely divine. Not overly sweet but just right; This is a must try. I ordered the “king Crab Benny,” as it was touted by the other Parlour restaurant as a very unique dish. It didn’t disappoint. It was in a word, outstanding! It has real King Crab and I would be hard pressed to find another restaurant that use this hard to find King Crab. It paired very well with the hash browns under the english muffin with bacon bits, toasted just right. The side salad was just enough to cleanse the pallet between bites of King crab. Unique, fresh and delicious!. I met with owner Antonio and he was gracious to tell me the back story to the genesis of The Parlour. Without going into great detail it is a true love of fresh, unique dishes that will inspire the average diner to come back time and time again. It is a concept of being a “Social Sitting Room.” The idea is to come on in enjoy being social and enjoy some mind blowing food.(pretend it’s 1990, no cell phones, talk to each other.) Also, the coffee is some of the best around! I have tried other dishes at the other Parlour and they serve the same here as well. Try the “Parlour Brekie Sando.” It was borne from a collaboration of being a hangover cure. Not sure if it does that but you have to try this creation. They have unique way of drinking champagne, it’s called the “Cham-bong.” *See pix. Basically you shoot champagne through a hollow stem glass, great fun! The servers, Griffen and Natalie were fantastic, always smiling and on the spot with the service! There is the possibility of The Parlour being open for dinner. Stay tuned around the first of the year. Summary, if you want a ordinary oriented breakfast / lunch style restaurant, there are plenty to choose from If you want very fresh, truly unique breakfast / lunch dining experience you owe it to yourself to stop by The Parlour in Henderson. My “William score:” 1-5, 5 being best Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4.5 Value: 4-5 Fun factor: 5 menu: 5

Read moreWe recently visited The Parlour in Henderson, the sister location to the popular spot in Downtown Las Vegas. This new outpost is much larger while keeping the same chic, eclectic charm that defines the brand. The stylish rose wallpaper, plush red velvet seating, and sleek black tables and chairs all make a return, creating a cool playful vibe. One standout design feature is the black-painted brick wall, adorned with The Parlour’s signature gold insignia, which adds a bold, artistic flair.
Other fun touches include vintage memorabilia displayed on wall shelves, like the iconic leg lamp from A Christmas Story, which adds a whimsical twist to the space. While we couldn’t take advantage of the outdoor seating due to rain, the patio looked inviting and well designed, definitely something to look forward to on a sunny day.
We arrived right when they opened on a Sunday morning and were the first customers in. As more people trickled in, the atmosphere remained relaxed and upbeat, with great music playing at just the right volume. The black tile ceiling added another layer of modern sophistication to the overall aesthetic.
The service was fantastic. Both our waitress and barista were warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. They explained the menu thoroughly and made us feel genuinely welcomed.
Now, onto the food and drinks, which did not disappoint. We really appreciated that they offer a dedicated vegan menu in addition to the regular selections. We tried the vegan sausage burrito and the waffles, and both were excellent. The burrito was flavorful, hearty, and generously portioned perfect for sharing. The waffles came topped with fresh fruit and were served with just the right amount of syrup. I also had their “Mocha But Better” brew, and it truly lived up to its name, smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced.
All in all, The Parlour is a fantastic addition to the Henderson coffee and brunch scene. Great food, thoughtful décor, and wonderful service make this a spot well worth supporting. I highly recommend checking it out and showing some local love to help...
