EDIT: Ugh, I hate how I have to edit my 5 star review. Today in the drive-through while I was waiting to get my coffee, my toddler was asking for water. When I got to the window, I asked the employee for a small cup of tap water with no ice just to tide her over until we got to our destination. They seemed confused and then told me it would be $0.96. I was a little taken back when I said, oh, I didn’t realize it would cost something? And they said nothing. I don’t think that this is a customer first response, especially since I’m a regular. It seems really ridiculous and not parent friendly.
This is my local Dunkin’, and I’m honestly shocked in the best way. I moved here from the West Coast where Dunkin’ locations are rare, and frankly, the ones that do exist are borderline inedible. I’ve always been more of a Starbucks girl (and Dutch Bros or Black Rock, iykyk). But this Dunkin’? It blows all of them out of the water.
I was skeptical at first since it’s attached to a gas station, let’s be real, food spots in gas stations usually aren’t great. But this place is the exception. The coffee, the espresso drinks, the breakfast sandwiches… they’re all actually really freaking good. Consistently.
The employees are super friendly and efficient, and the line is never bad. Even if there is one, it moves fast. I’ve officially become a regular, and I’m not...
Read moreI stopped here for breakfast this morning. I picked up online order in the drive thru. I had ordered 2 wake-up wraps and a frosted cream donut. (Other names for this donut are Vanilla headlight, Bismarck, or Manager Special.) When I looked in the bag and realized it was wrong donut, I gave it back to her and told her. She asked me what I ordered. And I said frosted cream. Then she had given me the wrong one again. This time purple frosting with sprinkles. A man came to the window with a mustache, I guess he was the manager. I explained she gave me the wrong donut twice. I told him I wanted a Frosted Cream, or Vanilla Headlight. I thought he gave me the right donut this time, so I pulled out and left. In a haste, he had put my donut in a tiny bag. When I pulled donut out of the bag to eat it, the chocolate icing stuck to the paper. When I bit into it, I realized it was a boston creme donut. It's not what I ordered! They should make sure the girl knows and speaks english before letting her work at the window. They definitely need to learn the listen better. Not just rush people through the window. I didn't order coffee because I made coffee at home and brought in my cup. Good thing. Hopefully, they'll do better next time I come...
Read moreI've been a semi-regular at this location since 2015. I used to get a black coffee and an unsweetened iced tea on my way to work until a couple years ago when I had several days the iced tea was gross. I took a break and started going again and skip the tea....today I ordered my new usual: the sunrise batch iced coffee. medium for $2 has been advertised for some time. Today the total was $3.19. When I got to the window I told the boy collecting my money that I ordered the $2 sunrise batch iced coffee and gestured to the sign , he informed me that special is over. He said he was new and I didn't want to scare him so I asked to speak to someone who could help. Instead I got another boy who smirked and said there was nothing he could do, there was a different special now. I said someone should take down the incorrect sign for an item that ended last week. I was never rude, it's not in my nature to blame but I feel the offer should have been honored without question the little boy who waited on me was polite, and borderline apologetic. This store has a high turn over but...
