They now have an artificial intelligence system that tries to take your order. If you make a decent quantity order it will most likely not take it right. The thing told us it was getting an employee we waited 5 minutes honked horn, nothing!! It never notified anyone. Went there about 645-7 pm. Had to go in to order. Plenty of staff. It was me and 1 other person. It took 25 minutes minimum from order to leaving. They had nothing ready. Everything had to be cooked. The chicken had to be air fried because it was too soft!! You know when chicken isn’t pink but it’s not cooked quite long enough. That’s what it was. Had to wait on each item to be cooked. But it was like they didn’t try to cook all the order at once. We had to wait for each item to be cooked separately with 5 min wait on first thing, 8 min wait on sandwich, and 5 min wait on bo berry biscuits. I have never seen a “fast food” place make you wait like that so your food isn’t done at the same time. So the temps weren’t right. Truly SAD BOJANGLES!!!!!!!!! There are always too many staff standing in a group doing nothing. That’s why it sucks! I know people who have worked here and quit because they were the ones doing everything while staff stands in a group every day no matter who is there. No wonder food isn’t cooked. There should definitely be no reason for a real employee not taking orders over intercom!!! The computer takes forever unless you order extremely simple. But you can’t mess up or the computer system will not get your...
Read moreI had a unique experience at this Bojangles this morning. First, the restaurant and bathroom was very clean and mest. I placed my order and the staff was very nice and friendly. I noticed the drive thru line was long so I went inside thinking it would be quicker. While I was waiting for my order it seemed to be taking longer than it should. The manager, did not get his name but he was a big black man, noticed I was waiting so he asked what I was waiting on. I told him so he went to the back and and apparently the kitchen was not cooking mine. He came back out and told me a few minutes. Then he checked back with the kitchen and updated me again. During all of this he was interacting with employees and customers and I was so impressed with how professional he was the entire time. He was coaching and training employees and was always polite and respectful to them and they seemed to respond very well to him. He was the same way with all customers and I was so impressed. I used to work in retail management so I know how difficult it can be dealing with customers and employees, especially young inexperienced employees, so I always try to be patient when things are not going well for me as long as the staff seems to care and seems to be trying hard to get it right and this guy certainly was. This man is a great leader, sets a great example for his staff and is a great asset to Bojangles I appreciate that...
Read moreI ordered a two thigh and leg meal with green beans and dirty rice in the drive-thru. I paid the correct price and hurried home so I wouldn't miss any of the football game that was on. Very disappointed to open the box and find a one breast meal with two completely different sides. I go to this Bojangles because it's close to the house. I hurried back and went through the drive-thru again because the dining room was closed. Explained the mix-up and they looked at me like I had three heads. After two people in the drive-thru talked about it. They told me they were out of thighs and dirty rice. So I had to get one thigh and two legs and substitute the dirty rice. I understand the fast food business. I've worked in many. Including Bojangles! Through this whole process not once! Not once, did I hear an, "We're sorry for the mistake". "We apologize". Or anything like that. I understand today's generation does not understand customer service. But my goodness. In the past I've also received old chicken that has been sitting there a while obviously. Overcooked and dry. It's getting to the point to where I'm willing to drive further to Kentucky Fried Chicken instead of this...
