If you’ve ever wondered what disappointment tastes like, this place serves it by the to‑go box.
The Vulcano Salad smelled like it crawled out of a pickle jar that had gone sour years ago. The “dressing” wasn’t so much vinaigrette as it was clumps of mystery goo with a flavor I can only describe as expired regret.
The Bambino Polpette, advertised as a kid’s spaghetti, came spiced like it was auditioning for a hot sauce contest. Tough noodles, pepper‑bomb meatballs - I wouldn’t serve it to an adult, let alone a child.
The Pasta alla Norma? Imagine eggplant on the verge of rotting buried under a storm of black pepper, with pasta cooked to the resilient texture of a garden hose.
The real show, though, was the customer service. When I called to explain the food was awful, I was told by Jenny that “no one has ever complained before.” (Sure — maybe they were too afraid to waste their breath.) She denied a refund, claiming I might have “eaten it all.” Yet promised one if uneaten and brought back. So I drove back with the uneaten food in hand just to prove my honesty.
Once there, Jenny passed me to the co‑owner, who decided to make it personal. He refused even a handshake, accused me of not explaining what was wrong (a lie — I already had), and doubled down on the denial. His posture said: How dare a paying customer expect edible food or basic respect?
So here’s the truth: the food tasted spoiled, the experience was insulting, and the attitude was worse than the meal. If this is their idea of hospitality, then I’ll gladly “never complain again” - because I’ll never be back.
I want to be clear that my review reflects my personal experience as a paying customer. I did not “target” or “attack” your restaurant — I simply shared what I was served and how I was treated.
Taste is subjective, and readers can decide for themselves based on the details I provided. However, the service interactions I described were factual and not exaggerated. I returned the uneaten food, explained my concerns directly, and was denied even basic courtesy.
My review was not written to harm but to inform future diners. I respect that others may have had different experiences, but mine was disappointing enough that I felt it was...
Read moreThe owner was beyond vile and rude to my family. I am utterly appalled by her behavior and multiple encounters with us in the ordering line. We “didn’t follow her paper instructions” at the front that stated we must order before choosing a table. We did not see her instructions as we were trying to decide what to order off the tv screen. At the time, there were only two parties in front of us (one two and one three). Little did we know, the party of three in front of us was allowed to reserve a large table for themselves, even though they were still waiting on multiple people that had not yet arrived to the restaurant. By reserve, I mean our items were removed from the only table fitting our family and the table was then set up for this half party. The sole reason we chose this table that we were no longer allowed to have is for our small infant so his high chair would be in the corner and not bothersome to others. We were yelled at aggressively by said owner in front of everyone and ridiculed and embarrassed. We were asked how many we had and we said five, well six if you count the infant and she corrected saying “you said five and now you say six. You need to be clear in your answer so I know what table to set up. So now you have six?! That complicates things since you “now” require a high chair. You should have been clear at the beginning”. The other small party of 3 took the oversized table that would fit our family of 6 and when we mentioned this news to her, she interrupted and yelled at us again, stating they ordered before us and could get any table they pleased and we must wait. Now it was our turn to order and since “no tables were available now”, we were told they would not put our order in until we could be seated. We ended up leaving, without ordering, and taking our valuable business elsewhere. I saw some other reviews mentioning a very similar experience here so not only does it seem to be a pattern, but obviously no course of action has been taken to correct the...

Vibe: What a charming surprise! Tutti da Gio is tucked away in a strip mall, but don’t let that fool you—this place is a total gem. The wood-burning pizza oven is a standout feature, and the space feels cozy, welcoming, and clearly well-loved. It’s simple, homey, and full of heart. You can tell this is a true neighborhood spot, run with passion.
Service: Exceptionally warm and friendly. I felt instantly at home—like I was being welcomed into someone’s family kitchen.
Eats: I started with the Vulcano side salad—romaine, arugula, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, onions, Parmigiano, and a light balsamic-olive oil dressing. It may sound simple, but wow—it was so fresh and flavorful. I’d go back for this salad alone.
Then came the Margherita pizza—a classic, done perfectly. The dough was spot on: chewy with just the right amount of char from that wood-fired oven. The tomato sauce was light and clean, the mozzarella creamy, and the fresh basil brought it all together.
They also have a thoughtful, well-priced wine list—impressive quality for the price point.
You can see the care in every detail here. Everything is made fresh—I even caught a glimpse of the team crafting pasta and dough by hand.
Final verdict: Tutti da Gio is a true find. Great food, warm hospitality, and a lot of love in every bite. You have to...
