Well, let's start with the establishment itself. Place is located in a convenient location with short rides to just about anything. We were there for a soccer tournament and we were less than 5 min away from Drakes Creek Park. Actually, we were never more than 10 min away from all kinds of stuff like stores, restaurants, convenience stores.... great location. The inside was nice, and the staff were very polite. Rooms were spacious but the bathroom needed a little updating. I actually had to switch the nozzle on the shower to IN BETWEEN modes so I didn't lose my skin. The water pressure was definitely high which if you apply the right shower head it would be amazing....the one that's on there NOT SO MUCH. Water came out so fast the drain couldn't keep up and within 3 minutes u were standing in 1 to 2 inches of water. Moving on to the beds. They are definitely firm mattresses and if you can handle it they are fine, if you can't you will be in trouble. Couch was firm as well so I couldn't win. Rest of the room was clean and nice. Now the biggest hit or all.... THE PRICETAG!! Maybe it's just the location and the name that allow it to be so high. $300+ a night you should be able to expect more from a place. We settled for this place because most hotels were booked already and I didn't want to drive 30 min to the fields multiple times a day. But still!!! For 300+ a night you can at least serve Breakfast a little earlier!!! But Nooooo.... the lady stated, "We start at 7." Anyone there for sports knows you have to be out and at the fields by that time.... Gee wiz!! Another loss for me!! When I get rooms always check to see if they serve breakfast!! Total bummer!! The breakfast area looked nice, wish I could of seen it with food in it. 1 positive thing, they have a little bar-ish area right next to the check in desk. They have a good assortment of beer if you just want have a couple drinks after a long day. Stay safe everyone and make...
Read moreMy family and I stayed at the Hyatt Place in Hendersonville from July 4-6, and had a terrific experience. The desk staff was wonderfully kind, always greeted us warmly, and met our request for a quiet room on the top floor. The room was perfectly appointed, clean, and comfortable. I loved the convenience of the fridge, and my husband couldn't live without the coffee maker. Even full of kids and baseball teams, the guest rooms and hallways were quiet, and there was no rowdiness or crowding in the common areas. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we've ever experienced, even in comparison to far more expensive hotels. I love that HP makes the effort to serve only cage free eggs, and that there is such a wide selection of healthy foods (oatmeal, boiled eggs, colorful roasted potatoes, cereals, fruit), cold and hot, savory and sweet. The lobby was attractive and inviting, particularly because of the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. There was a gentleman that worked the front desk who was one of the most exceptional customer service professionals I've ever encountered in a hotel or restaurant.
We were in town for a baseball tournament, and most of the team stayed at the La Quinta in a nearby town. Their experience was so, so miserable that we actually felt guilty for being somewhere that outstandingly nice! A few of the team parents stopped by to visit us on the way to the field, and they were in shock over how upscale our hotel was, and at less cost than their own!
My only bits of constructive advice: 1) add Clorox wipe dispensers liberally around the fitness room so guests can wipe down machines; and 2) equip each room with a safe for valuables.
I promised the man working the desk that I would write to let your company know how exceptional this location is. Though it's taken me awhile to find time, I wanted to live up to that because they deserve the...
Read moreWe had no hot water the first day we were at this hotel and couldn’t take showers before going to my daughters graduation. They have multiple hidden charges after our first night we got this $200 charge which no one seem to be able to explain to us what that was for? It wasn’t for the room. They only have these cheap little pancake sticks, no waffles no any of that. No gluten-free options except Rice Chex. And they don’t have coffee out for people staying at the hotel. You can only get coffee until 9 AM. This is definitely not a three star hotel. The pool is only open seasonally because it’s outdoors. In my opinion, a three star hotel has a pool year-round and a hot tub and you can get coffee All day. This is totally over appraised. It was more like a off the freeway motel than a three star hotel like it’s supposed to be. I will never stay here again and we come to Nashville 5 to 6 times a year. This was our first time staying at this Hyatt place. We stay at the Hyatt place and our family stays at the Hyatt Place in Columbus, Ohio frequently, and I’ve always had a good experience there, but this one is definitely not up to par. And when you do have an issue, there’s never a manager anywhere around nor can they find one. It took my parents an hour to get checked in because there was an a manager available to help the girls at the desk figure out their reservation. Remotes only work standing right in front of tv. Very outdated. It was like staying at a...
