I don't know if it's just us? Because everyone else on here had a great experience based on their reviews, but we did not. Walked in and clearly there is a sign that states, " please wait to be seated." So we sat at the bench near the entrance. The lady stood near the register and said to us, " You dining or picking up, what you here for, what you want?" We were a little surprised that she seemed annoyed by us sitting at the bench. That should've been 1st red flag and a sign that we need to leave. But we stayed and told her we were dining in. She said well you standing at the pick up, you at the wrong spot. So we apologized, why we did, I do not know. So she walked us to a table, that wasn't even cleaned yet. There was rice all over the floor under our table. 2nd red flag. But we hung in there still for the food. Our drinks were brought out and she spilled our cup and ice on the table and said they'll take care of it. Never came back to clean it or even give us another cup of ice. Fine that should've been 3rd strike your out, but still we gave them the benefits of the doubt and waited for our food. 🤦🏻♀️ The pad Thai was over saturated and soggy and greasy. The red curry was very sweet which was fine I just added salt. But Sad that I was really hoping for a...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Thai Orchid, a delightful new addition to the culinary scene that has quickly become a cherished find since its opening this summer. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a memorable dining experience. To start, I indulged in the crab Rangoon, which was a sublime blend of creamy filling and crispy golden exterior—a perfect harmony of textures and flavors. The egg rolls followed suit, offering a crisp and satisfying bite, packed with fresh veggies and accompanied by a tangy dipping sauce that elevated each morsel. My main course, the beef phò, was a comforting bowl of savory broth, tender slices of beef, and perfectly cooked noodles. The robust and aromatic spices mingled effortlessly, creating a gratifying dish that was both nourishing and delectable. Thai Orchid offers a treasure trove of culinary offerings, and I am eagerly anticipating my next visit to explore more of their delightful menu. This charming establishment is a true gem, inviting diners to experience authentic Thai cuisine in a welcoming and delightful setting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a flavorful and enriching dining...
Read moreWent there before the official grand opening on a Saturday night around 8. The staff is hard working and as with any NEW place, expect to wait! Everyone flocks to new places to try it out - don't complain or go somewhere else and wait a few weeks. As I said, the staff was attentive and hard working, the owner even came over to thank us for coming. They close at 9 and when I got there at 8 the parking lot was packed, the wait was about 10 -15 minutes or so to get seated. We wound up finishing a little after 9 and they were nothing but great. So, unless you like people keeping YOU at work after you close, get there in time to eat before they close. It's called common sense/decency. Some of these negative reviews are BS because people don't know how to be decent and leave a negative review to be a pain. It's NOT a chain and mom and pops can only survive with support. So leaving negative reviews because of waiting is unfair to the business. Also! Their prices are GREAT! I had similar in Nashville and paid the same price for TWO people that I paid...
