There’s a lot to unpack here, and it’s mostly not very good. I’ve noticed that you can tell a lot about a Zaxby’s by whether or not they charge for extra sauce. If they charge for extra sauce (especially just one) then the franchisee is cheap, which is going to affect the quality of the food. Because they’re cheap, they’re not going to clean/change the grease in the fryers as often, meaning your food isn’t going to taste the best. I visit a lot of Zaxby’s locations, and that’s usually a spot on observation. This is definitely one of those locations. Several times I’ve gone, and you could tell the oil was old and dirty, you can taste it in the chicken. Because of the cheapness of the owner/franchisee, I have spent twice as much up the street at Dairi-O to get better food, and better service.
Now, for the service. It’s hit or miss, but mostly miss. Several times I have gone inside and stood at the counter for a good 2-3 minutes before being greeted, and it’s generally by one of the same people that saw me walk in. Getting the food is pretty quick, but you’re going to wait a while before you can place your order, that’s for sure. I’ve even been waited on by who I assume is the manager, and she wasn’t a shining beacon of light like you would expect, she was just as non-caring as the rest of the staff.
I travel for a living, and I’ve been staying in town for the past month (with at least another 2 months scheduled) and honestly they’ve lost a lot of my business. I would be eating there probably 5 nights a week, but because of everything I’ve mentioned, they’re lucky to see me maybe once every...

As I was sitting at my table waiting for my name to be called I observed a young lady, working behind the counter, playing on her personal phone. My name was called, she's the one that handled my food. After sitting down, I returned to the counter to get a drink cup, and the same lady and another young lady was around the corner, no one manning the counter, playing on their phones and digging in a purse. A young man wiping tables, came back up behind the counter to help me out. Food preparation employees SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO HANDLE THEIR CELL PHONES WHEN ON DUTY!

Read moreDespite it being a Sunday I would have hoped the lady at the front was nicer. She was basically non existent and catered to the teenagers that were at her counter and those Sunday church goers more than the individual. If I could pick a different time to vist I would have. Sunday afternoon this place was packed. Mostly with people in church clothes who were coughing and sneezing without covering their cough. We sat in one place in the restaurant and had to move because a lady with her teens decided to plant right next to us and she was one of the main sickies coughing all over. People if you are sick stay home or use...
