We chose to dine inside on a Sunday after church we ordered two piece barbecue chicken meals there was one girl taking our order who consistently messed it up she didn't even know what we were talking about and actually charged us for three piece and which we had to correct her, we had to point to the picture on the wall. We should have left right then and there but decided to stick it out to try the barbecue chicken. Disappointed as an understatement it was actually disgusting. Dripping with sugary mess. We were not asked if we wanted to dine in or take it to go which we usually take it to go. Instead we were handed a paper bag with our items in the bag which did not include the wet wipe to clean yourself after you ate the chicken there were no lids for the drinks. There were no sugar-free options there was a zero sugar Pepsi but that was it that's not the same as diet. We then chose a table that was completely filthy underneath it on top of it and around it we moved after my husband cleared off a table.. the floors in Windows were filthy the bathroom was available to use but it is a unisex bathroom if you have childrenI would not let them go in that bathroom or I would stand guard at the door as the lock didn't work. The cashier was more interested in communicating with the people in the back and laughing while not paying attention to what we were saying to her. It was not a great experience at all we grew up with KFC. Again we had no trays to eat inside your little restaurant. We had to eat out of a bag with plastic in everything the mashed potatoes we had gotten an individual size with our order had a dollop of gravy. We did not get all the items that were on the meal or included we didn't want to deal with going back to an inept . I brought the second piece home and rinsed all the barbecue sauce off of itcashier. Probably be our last time eating at KFC. I could have just bought extra crispy chicken and poured disgusting barbecue sauce all over it. Not a good experience at all. Really sad. Obviously management isn't doing a good job. Please get some trays in there for people who...
Read moreI’m genuinely disappointed with the Hermiston KFC. Tonight (around 9:15pm), my wife went to grab us some food — well ahead of their 10:00pm closing time — and was told they're out of chicken. When she asked what they do have, the employee replied, “We’re pretty much out of everything.”
Look, I’ve worked in fast food and similar jobs before. I get the urge to start closing things down early and begin cleanup — especially on slower nights. But this felt less like a supply issue and more like the crew simply decided to shut it down early for their own convenience.
How does KFC, a national chain literally built around serving chicken, run out of it before closing time? It’s not like this is a brand-new location — they've been around long enough to know how much food to stock. Whether it’s poor planning or a lack of oversight, the end result is the same: customers being turned away and left frustrated.
This isn’t just a missed dinner — it’s a failure in basic business operation. I can’t imagine the manager or franchise owner would find this acceptable, and I’ll be sharing this experience on every review platform I can to make sure it gets seen.
If the team doesn’t want to serve customers right up until closing time, maybe the hours need to be changed — or new leadership...
Read moreI don't understand. KFC used to rule when I was a kid. Now, something has changed. I ordered a crispy 16-piece dark meat bucket last week, and I expected at least a little crispiness to crispy fried chicken. Instead, it was soft, tasted like raw flour, and 11 different types of pepper. There was no joy in this meal. I couldn't even finish it, and I only had 2 thighs and 2 drumsticks. I've eaten all manner of questionable food and came out fine. But after this... my guts have been messed up bad all week. Btw, fried chicken is supposed to be fried IN the oil, not 40% composed of it, KFC. The service was fast and...
