Guadalajara Grill — Restaurant in Hernando

If I could give them a 0 star I would I love going to Mexican restaurants but this one was just horrible. When we came they told us sit wherever so we set down. There was one other group they're eating before us we sit down and are waiter came and gave us a drinks and never showed back up and a Mexican family came in that was bigger than what we had they told them to sit down as soon as they sit down their waiter which was the same as my waiter went over there got them drinks and even took their order and put your order in and they got their food before our waiter even came back to us to take our order it took another hour for them to bring that out I'm a very picky person about my food I ordered two fajitas separately because one of my kids ordered fajitas too we wait an hour for them to bring our food out when they did they only brought one severing of fajitas and said that they just put both of the fajitas on the same plate which was not true at all it was one serving they give you three flour tortillas with the order so we got six we were only able to make three tacos fajitas out of what they gave us another 30 minutes went by I finally seen the waiter pulled him aside and I spoke to him about this matter and he looked at me and said I'm sorry there's nothing I can do about that he wouldnt help he didn't care mind you the people next to us had ordered fajitas too I looked and there was 10x more then we were given and it was supposed to be for two people they were very rude they charged us a double for something we didn't get if they get your order wrong they're not going to take it back and get your order right yes I was upset that my food wasn't right but what truly upset me is when I asked a waiter about it and spoke to him and asked him if he could fix it he just smiled at me and said no there's nothing that he could do about it and he still charged me double for it knowing that they only brought us one serving of it they are really really rude and I would not waste my time or money going there they're not kid-friendly one of my sons ordered a kid's meal which had a cheese pizza on it they brought him a microwaved cheese pizza out like I can do that at home I spent $20 on that so yes I am upset about it and this is my way of trying to warn people...

Went to get food here last night. Had the rudest server I’ve ever had at any restaurant. He walked up to our table to ask for our drink order and was frustrated that we paused because didn’t know exactly what we wanted yet. Because he was being so aggressive, we all got waters which seemed to annoy him even more. When he came back with the water he asked what we wanted to eat. We started to order cheese dip and guac and in the middle of us ordering he just rolled his eyes and went to a different table to take their order. Then he came back (still angry) and just stood there. My friend began to ask for cheese dip and guac again and he rudely asked “are you going to order anything else??” We had not decided what entrees we wanted yet so my friend said that we wanted to get the dips first, and then the server rolled his eyes again and basically yelled that the kitchen was really busy and then just stormed off. We got up and left after that happened. We were seated for maybe 5-10 minutes total; it is not like we were sitting there talking for half an hour without ordering. The place was busy, so I am sure he was having to run around a lot, but no one should ever be spoken to or treated like we were when paying for a service. Came here based off of the Google reviews. Came here for lunch on Friday April 29th, 2022 for lunch right at opening at 11 am as I was leaving a doctor's appointment in the area.

They seem to have quite a few regulars that like the place and the staff is very friendly with their regulars and new guests.

Service was excellent and the staff attitude was great as well.

I ordered the chorizo dip with peppers off the starters ( I forgot what it was called) and the enchiladas tapitias (four cheese enchiladas topped with chicken and lettuce, sour cream, and avacado slices on the side). I ordered rice and beans on the side.

The chorizo dip could have used a bit more cheese sauce, and the green peppers had a slight bitter taste to it, but overall I still liked it.

The chicken on the enchiladas were nicely seasoned with some spices, but it was just a smidge tough and a bit dry. The cheese enchiladas were nice as well, but I feel like it needed some kind of sauce on top. Still delicious though. The beans were pretty standard, but the rice was good too. Nicely seasoned and not as dry as some other Mexican restaurants.

The salsa they give you with chips and salsa tasted fresher than other places as well!
