Wow, today may be my final straw with this location. I've dealt with the terribly slow service for a while now and have been understanding when my food isn't great, but tonight's poor treatment by the staff was just outrageously bad. I'll be following up with their corporate office and the BBB because the way I was disrespected was unacceptable. Around 7:45 PM, my friends and I attempted to enter the restaurant and the door was locked. We were confused because a sign right next to the door said the lobby closes at 10 PM and there were plenty of people eating and waiting to order inside. 3 males had also just been allowed in the door, so I just assumed it was an accident. The woman at the counter gave me a vile look and tried to wave me away. When I continued to look puzzled, she very aggressively stormed towards me, flung the door open and told me if I wanted service, I'd had to go through the drive thru because she had employees who were about to leave and wouldn't have enough staff. When I asked her to speak to me in a more respectful manner and reminded her that staffing this restaurant is not my job, she rolled her eyes and continued to be loud and aggressive, stating that there are "safety" issues if she'd let us in and that she'd been at work since noon. No offense to her or anyone who works at Taco Bell, but I work a much more mentally and physically taxing job for 13+ hours/shift, and even if I'd had the worst day imaginable, I'd be fired on the spot if I spoke to a patient or family member the way she spoke to me. This could have been very easily avoided if a sign or anything explaining the situation to customers was on the door, but they just locked it and assumed we'd read their mind I suppose. I do know that I'll be taking this up the chain of command and seeking justice for this...
Read moreOn June 2, I placed an order through the app for pick-up through the drive-thru. Ordered 2 of the Luxe boxes. Received the boxes, and there was food there, but the orders were mixed up between the boxes. Not a big issue, it was my husband and I. I was disappointed that instead of the ordered cinnamon twists, we received chips and that weird cheese dip. Okay . . . again, not the end of the world. Life goes on. Four days later, everybody wants Taco Bell again. I ordered through the app, but elected to walk inside and pick-up the order. Good thing . . . same order as a few days earlier plus 3 more items for another person. The Luxe boxes did not have the boxes . . . they were just stuck in a big bag with the other 3 added items and a couple of handfuls of sauce. By my count, there were supposed to be 9 items in the bag . . . I counted 8. So I'm digging in the bag to try to figure out what's missing -- something that would have been so much easier if these items had been placed in a Luxe box. I figured it out, waited at the counter to be noticed, shared I was missing the item -- and to their credit -- the staff went and retrieved that item which was missing. The staff was polite, and I know they were busy (yes, it was lunch time), but twice in one week . . . this isn't a great sign. BTW, I did get the cinnamon twists . . . it made digging to discover what was missing so much more fun as they were in the bag also . . . with the taco sauce. Food tasted okay. It's just so dang frustrating that getting the order right falls to the person picking up the order vs the people who agreed to do this as part of their job. Thanks for coming to work today, guys. Read moreIm not one to vent or complailn but this store always shorts or screws my order up. Aganist my wishes the kids wanted taco bell. After sitting in the drive thru for 20 min with only 2 cars ahead of me, and waited for my $28 order. Was handed the food with no words or eye contact or thank you so I asked "is this it?" I got a "ugh hugh" (yes). (This is where I screwed up, i was hoping it would be right for once without checking) Got home and they missed 6 items in my order for $9 of it. Tried to call for 15 min never answered and kept getting the answering machine. Drove to get my food and they were like "oh yeah" like they knew. Also asked why they didnt answer the phone, no answer other than "yeah we heard it ring". Politely expressed my dissatification because this is the 3 or 4th time ive been stolen from (not recieved product paid for) They asked what else you want? I just asked for the rest of my order to move on. So this is my last review on this place. I will check my order throughly everytime no matter how long i hold the line up.
