I wanted to come on here and share the horrible customer service experiences that my boyfriend and I had at this establishment, not only once but twice. Starting with our first experience, on Friday June 5th we placed an order for delivery through DoorDash and we were missing our masala fries and 2 mango lassis. When we tried to rectify the situation with DoorDash (which sucks by the way, I do not recommend using their services at all), there wasnât any solution we could reach so we contacted the restaurant. When we called them we should have already known something is wrong with their system as they said they couldnât find our order in their system but that they would take down my boyfriendâs name and phone number. My boyfriend was promised a free entree and 25% off another entree, which sounded like a good deal so we just enjoyed our food and planned to make another order in the future. A little over a week later, my boyfriend and I decide to order again and we called the restaurant this time to place the order because of their promise. When he called to place the order he told the person on the phone about what we were promised and we waited 30 minutes to go pick it up. When we got there the guy who rang us out was the guy on the phone who was aware of the situation yet pretended that we should have told him about the situation as if he didnât know. Instead of trying to discuss with my boyfriend that he understood the situation, he rang everything up silently and we did not know what we were being charged for until we had already paid but I knew the amount did not look right. I looked at the itemized receipt after leaving and noticed we did not get a free entree nor 25% off another entree we ordered and the guy slickly just took off an $8 appetizer instead of what we were promised. I could not just allow them to not make good on their promise, so I went back inside to talk to him and say they did not ring up the order correctly and we were overcharged. He said there was nothing he could do and that the ticket was closed. I asked him could they do anything else to make the situation right and he walked away to talk to someone behind the kitchen and came back with no solution other than giving us a free dessert (which didnât make up for the $13 that they overcharged us the first order or the $12 we were overcharged this order as well). I tried to ask could I speak to the manager or have a business card for the manager and he told me he didnât have any. It is such a shame that poor customer service has to ruin our experiences BOTH TIMES at this place because we actually like the food and wanted to support their business but it is extremely disrespectful how poor their customer service is and I cannot waste anymore time or money there and I highly suggest you donât waste your time or money...
Read moreThe food here is good, HOWEVER the service is absolutely horrible. The first time I ordered from here I ordered delivery. When the food came I was missing the Tikka fries as well as 2 mango lassis. I called up and was told that they were sorry, and that they would write down my name and number so next time I would get a free entree and 25% off of another. Satisfied with the solution I thanked them and enjoyed the food that did come.
Ready to give them another shot I ordered again a week later. This time, I did takeout because I thought maybe the issue last time was with the delivery. Unfortunately that was not the case... I called up and told them about my previous experience and how I was offered a free entree and 25% off of another, they said they understood and I placed my order.
When I came to pick it up however it was a different story. I told them I had called and about the situation. They then brought the food and rang everything up silently without talking to us, and there is no display to see an itemized list. However when I got the receipt I found that they only took off an appetizer and there was no discount. When I noticed this I ran the numbers and it should have been about $15 cheaper. I let the guy at the cash register know and all he had to say was, "I already closed the ticket, you should have told us beforehand. All I can do is give you a free mango lassi". (Which we had already ordered 2 of and are only $3.50.) I then asked if there was a manager who could do something or a business card for a manager. He says "No" then just walks off to talk to another employee. Oh and to top it off they forgot our mango lassis again (but didn't forget to charge us) until I had to remind them. I could understand if the place was super busy, but I was literally the only person in there...
I'm really disappointed as the food is pretty good, but the horrendous service far...
Read moreI really like the tikka masala here, and up until today, I thought the price was ok for the food I was getting. But today I ordered the chicken curry and veggies. The chicken was tough as a cardboard and the portion of food, small. I was charged $2 dollars more for the veggies to find out that no rice or naan was coming with the dish (the menu states that the dish comes with rice and naan). I was then told the veggies are $4 as an add on but the $2 I paid meant it was a substitute for rice and naan. Well, I was cleared I wanted the rice! And let me get this straight regarding charges: you forfeit the rice ($3) and the naan ($2), totaling $5, to pay additional $2 for the veggies to get a cup of curry with tough chicken and a side of Japanese vegetables for a $14 dollar dish?! The food is spicy and you need something to break it off; Japanese veggies wonât do it, not to mention they donât go together. I just didnât know the veggies were Japanese style. Anyway, it all doesnât make any sense food wise, money wise or otherwise. Here I will just order tikka masala or stop coming altogether. It is just not...
