A Memorable 25th Anniversary Celebration at Maharani Palace
We recently celebrated the 25th Anniversary of a beloved family member at Maharani Palace and the experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish!
From the moment we walked in, the ambience and vibe were warm, elegant, and perfect for a family gathering. The decor had a royal charm, and the staff welcomed us with genuine hospitality that set the tone for a wonderful evening.
We started off with a round of mocktails Coco Colada (Pina Colada), Guava Pomegranate Cooler, Mango Mojito, and a Virgin Margarita. Each one was a hit!
For appetizers, we went with Bhel Puri and Jodhpuri Pyaz Kachori. While both were delicious, the Pyaz Kachori really stood out. It was flavorful, crisp, and unlike anything we had tasted recently. One of our family members even mentioned that it reminded him of local delicacies from back home in Rajasthan, a must-try for anyone visiting!
Moving on to the main course, we ordered: Paneer Butter Masala, Dal-E-Khaas, Khoya Paneer Matar, Lababdar Malai Kofta
Every dish was delicious, with medium spice levels, making it perfect for both kids and adults. The Paneer Butter Masala and Malai Kofta were my personal favorites bursting with flavor. The portion sizes were huge, with each curry enough to serve 3 to 4 people. We paired the curries with Garlic Naan and Pudina Paratha. The breads were soft, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The Pudina Paratha was my personal favorite.
After the meal, we had a lovely cake-cutting ceremony, and this is where the staff truly went above and beyond. Mr. Mahesh, the manager, and the entire team made us feel incredibly special. They surprised us with complimentary Halwa, Rasmalai, and even brought out a bottle of champagne to mark the celebration. One of the owners (Mr. Bhatt) personally came over to wish the couple on this big day, such a thoughtful and personal touch that made the evening feel even more memorable.
To add to this, Mr. Mahesh added a final special touch by giving everyone a Sweet Paan to end the meal on a sweet note, such a generous and thoughtful gesture that made the celebration even more unforgettable.
A big shoutout to Mr. Mahesh, who was not only an excellent host but a genuinely nice person who made our evening memorable.
Also big thanks to the Mr. Bhatt (owner) for connecting with all of us and giving special attention to us. He was very warm, kind and a wonderful person to talk to.
This celebration at Maharani Palace was definitely a memorable one. Thank you to the entire team for making it such a memorable and joyful occasion. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate something special or simply enjoy great Indian food with...

After a very warm welcome they served papad and chutneyâs while we were discussing and finalizing the order.
Now letâs talk food first, love the menu and some of the names for example Dilli ki Galiyon se, tandoor se, samundar se, sabjion ki bahar. For Appetizers we ordered Jodhpur pyaz kachori and chicken seekh kabob both were yum yum yum one of the best pyaaz kachoris I have ever had and the chicken seekh kabab you have to eat to understand how moist, deliciously melting they were. My kids even ended up finishing the pickled radish carrots and onions which came with the kabobs.
For main course we had Krispy Bhindi (Jo mom banati thi) - this has my heart just with that personal touch but a must must must order dish as Maa ki bhi yaad aayi aur apne desh ki bhi đ. Another dishes we ordered were khoya matar paneer and Peshwari murg ki handi - the flavors takes you definitely back to India and will indeed standout from all the other restaurants around DMV
Letâs talk about the breads now one of the best garlic naans, kulchas we have had which were super soft and bursting with flavors.
Ab chalen chandani chowk ki galiyan where we indulged into Sultan Rabri Kulfi and Heeramandi shahi tukda. Not sure if the pictures are doing any justice but they are the must try sweets. We were super full but the service manager insisted us to try and we thanked him so much to recommend as they are the must (âžď¸ times) try dish.
Wrapped our dinner with the ultimate fusion of taste and tradition - one word to define the experience Paan-tastic!!!!
Now about the wonderful ambience and an amazing hospitality of this beautiful place. Lives up to the name Maharani palace as Saby made me feel no less than a Maharani. Saby was an amazing host, suggested us all the dishes for the night, spoke in the Dilli accent Hindi which we loved as thatâs what makes us feel like sitting in Dilli restaurant and having fun conversations. He also introduced us to Neel Kamal ji who is the sweetest and humble person inside out. Neel ji (Respect truly as the food served here is pure love which is felt in every dish you curated). There was a graceful lady whom I forgot to ask her name but bonded with her so much and such a lovely host who made sure we are well fed and served đ. They hired the best and serving the best meal in town- what more can we ask for đ
â Laughter is brightest in the place where you find soulful food and warmth aroundâ Thank you team for coming to DMV, as I will surely be there soon to share the joy with...

If youâre craving authentic Indian cuisine that surpasses most restaurants in the U.S., look no further than this hidden gem. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly ground spices fills the air, hinting at the mouthwatering experience ahead.
The buffet is nothing short of spectacular, offering an exquisite variety of dishes that cater to every palate. Unlike the bland, uninspired buffets found in many American Indian restaurants, every dish here bursts with deep, complex flavors.
The chicken curry is an absolute masterpieceâtender, succulent pieces of chicken simmered in a rich, velvety gravy that strikes the perfect balance between heat and aromatic warmth. Each bite is a testament to the chefâs mastery of spices, delivering a depth of flavor that lingers long after the meal.
Then comes the biryani, a dish that alone is worth the visit. Fragrant basmati rice, slow-cooked with perfectly marinated meat and saffron, is layered with caramelized onions and fresh herbs. The first spoonful is pure magicâevery grain of rice infused with the essence of the spices, transporting you straight to the bustling streets of Hyderabad.
The kadhi is a delightful contrast, offering a comforting, home-style touch. The yogurt-based curry is luxuriously creamy, with just the right hint of tanginess and spice, enveloping the soft, melt-in-your-mouth pakoras. Itâs the kind of dish that wraps you in warmth and nostalgia, reminiscent of a lovingly prepared meal in an Indian household.
But what truly sets this restaurant apart is the chefâs extraordinary skill and dedication. Every dish reflects years of expertise, precision, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity.
