I spent nearly $50 this morning ordering breakfast and drinks for my family. I ordered via the mobile app, arrived ten minutes later to pick things up and quickly saw that the staff were all frantically making drinks and unwilling or unable to look up. No greeting. No offer of assistance.
I went to the pick-up counter and all the drinks were just out of reach. I stood by for what seemed like 10 minutes, waiting for help but nobody would give me eye contact. I could see my order was all ready and finally reached across the large counter and started assembling my items. I finally had to wave an employee down for napkins (they were totally out) and for the last two drinks which were just a little too far out of reach. I got the items home and surprise- one of the drinks he handed me was for someone else despite telling him the name on the order twice.
They failed to offer any sense of hospitality. They made me feel like an inconvenience. The order was incorrect. This was a fail.
Sadly this is the norm at Starbucks and why I have gone from being a raving fan, spending hundreds of dollars per week to going out of my way to avoid them. I hope Peet’s is listening as it presents them a MASSIVE opportunity for expansion. When was the last time you heard anything positive...
Read moreI have been coming here for a couple of months in the morning. I will be going elsewhere from now on. The place is dirty. There are crumbs on the floor, tables sticky most of the time. The staff get forgetful and irritated when I asked for water with my coffee. The bathroom is always messy. At 6am there are (brown) traces in the toilet seat. I see staff sweeping behind the counter but not in the seating area. They are busy due to the location and mainly focused for the drive through orders. If you are coming in to sit down expect to wait, not greeted. The garbage bins are overflowing and area is disgusting really. I think they just throw them out from their door. Because they wear their headsets you have to yell out your orders....sigh. Meh...

This came out to $6.09 😳 I asked how come so expensive if I can just get a tall size instead because a tall is normally$ 4.95 he told me Did it not have the button any longer in that he would need to add each item. I asked him would he be able to charge me for different drink that's equivalent And it seems because it's a bit high I was answered with no .. it's more because of each item. It seems that pressing extra buttons is to much work. During this pandemic which people aren't scheduled as many hours, business is slow. apparently businesses or hurting lack of service. And that's will all be replaced by machines do timebuttons cost me...
