I would have given at least a 4 star review but..... Met my son and daughter-in-law for dinner. Food was fine, service was great until I left and realized my wife and I never got our drivers licenses back. I could tell you the entire story but let's cut to the chase. Obviously the management thinks you are doing them a favor by going there. Obviously the person that owns the Garage Grill and Tuscany understands "CUSTOMER SERVICE" but his management doesn't.... Yes whoever is the "MAN IN CHARGE" has not let his management know that you are only as good as YOUR customers last visit. After waiting for 10 plus minutes to have our driver licenses returned all I received was "I'M SORRY".... Not how can I make this right.... Not sure why I feel like I'm doing you a favor dropping over a $100 for dinner, tipping 20+ percent and I get an "I'M SORRY" Hate to say it.... Bad customer service. I'm not doing YOU A FAVOR by eating there. I've owned a business for 28+ years and I would be embarrassed to put my name on this establishment. I guess that is why it's the "Garage Grill" and no one actually knows who is in charge.... That's the difference between owning what you own and having catchy phrases for your business. My business is my name. Hopefully someone who is actually in charge reaches out to me! But I'm not going to hold my breath!! Fancy cars, cool buildings and money doesn't mean you have integrity. I hope you can teach the people "IN CHARGE OF YOUR BUSINESS" have been taught custom service. Everything else is just FLUFF!
MAN IN CHARGE,
Thanks for the response and feedback. I can tell you are definitely passionate about your business. But I don't appreciate your belittling tactics..... Assuming I cussed "At" your underage employee is not true! I cussed but never directed my cussing to your underaged employee. On returning to your establishment and answering all of your underage employees questions to retrieve my ID your manager sent her back to me to deliver the bad news. My server had left your establishment with my ID and he needed to return to give it back to me.... So your manager sent an underage employee while she hid in the back of the kitchen. It wasn't a busy night. I'm assuming she felt that accountability wasn't her problem. Before I got frustrated I asked your underage employee to speak with the manager. She replied back "why" I was totally caught off guard why she needed to know "why". That's when the frustration started. And yes I cussed. I didn't cuss at her I just cussed. I'm assuming you know the difference And I'm accountable for my actions. And thanks to your incredible staff for showing understanding and compassion to a situation that they created not me! So I suggest next time you get a 1 star review put your belittling tactics in your back pocket and sit down so they won't come out. I appreciate the feedback from the...
Read moreLet me take you on an adventure full of underwhelming stories. We went to garage grill for my friend's bd. We had 8 guests 2 of them deaf. It was a Thursday at 4:30 our server was "N8" pretty sure is it's pronounced Nate. The place was very quiet, slow and not many people were dining in, I counted around 20-25 customers. The way that the restaurant is set up allows for many of the staff to wait around for tables to be cleaned. After we were seated 10-15 minutes passed till the out waiter arrived at our table to take our drink order, although we were all ready to order food since we had plenty of time to go over the menu. Regardless he only took our drink order, 20 minutes later he arrived with our drinks and was not able to point out which of the cups had what drink so there was a lot of tasting to finally figure it out. An issue that concerns me is how bad the water tasted as that also affects the taste of the soda, this place had hands down the worse fountain drinks I've ever had, and since our cups were mixed around I had plenty of bad tasting soda. By the time Nate decided to take our order we were already tired of waiting around and had already felt a bit irritated with the slow service regardless of the establishment being relatively "empty". We order our food and we god some unprovoked laughs from Nate almost as if he was making fun of us, he was grinding his teeth and sweating in a manner of anger. This left me with a bad taste as he had talked down on me and the mood was killed for the rest of the stay. Our food took ages to arrive, no joke I was so exhausted with the service I went for a walk with my friends in the parking lot. After a long time our order came around. To make matters worse the order was wrong and we were brought a "mustang burger" instead of a kids Mac and cheese. We told the runner/busser that our order was wrong. They instead brought us a "top gear Mac n cheese" (I did not know this at the time) there was a blond hair at the very top of the food which made our guest disgusted. Important to note, during this 2-2:30 hour stay our cups were not filled once... by the time we were done eating we were so ready to go. We begged for our bill so we could leave, but it took Nate long enough to come around to our table. There were so many mistakes in our bill that it's not even worth explaining. Plus they had the nerve to add an 18% tip for the worse service of my life. Thankfully a manager came to our table and made things a little better. I don't know if this is an isolated case but it is enough for me to not want to go again. Also the prices do not match quality... shout out to Texas Roadhouse or anywhere else really. also how is this place rated so high on Google maps. You guys should see yelp. People here would give 5 stars to...
Read moreIm gonna start saying im only writing a positive review thanks to Michelle, that saved our experience, other wise I would be here extremely upset! We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday, this place was on our list for a while! The place is so cool and the vibe is amazing we were so happy to be there. Our assigned server was Nate, when he goes to our table to greet us I say it’s my husbands birthday and we were there to celebrate, he didn’t say anything or showed any excitement. Me and my friend who is pregnant ordered flavored lemonade but we didn’t like the taste, so I asked our server to replace them for coke, he sighed angrily and asked “what can I get for you?” Because I was across the table I thought he didn’t hear me say “coke” the first time, so I said “coke” he aggressively slaps his notepad close, with an angry expression and says “sure I’ll go get your coke right now” and walks away stomping his feet as a little angry kid would do. Everyone in our table was confused why he got so angry and why he was over reacting like that, I suggested we just got our stuff and left because I have ZERO tolerance for terrible costumer service. I have been manager and server to MANY restaurants and I KNOW his behavior was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I was so upset that I was shaking my husband was confused, my pregnant friend got emotional. We were just feeling uncomfortable with the whole situation. I went and talked to the manager and she quickly changed our server. We were still upset but we decided to stay. Michelle was our new server and she saved the day. Not only providing AMAZING costumer service, but acknowledging our feelings and taking care of us as if we were her personal friends! She was quick, attentive, warm, friendly and extremely helpful! She changed what could have been one of the worst experiences of our lives at a restaurant, to one of the best! This lady deserves a raise! She absolutely went above and beyond! 3 stars are exclusive for Michelle, 1 star for the food and vibe, and the missing star is because it’s hard to believe that someone like Nate, that treats customers the way he did, is even allowed to keep working as a server I really hope he doesn’t go around ruining people’s days. We will come back and definitely request...
