Chuck's BBQ — Restaurant in Herrin

This is a peanut-free establishment, & that is so important when you or a family member have a severe peanut allergy. There are even signs on the wall saying so, & asking that no peanut products be brought into the establishment. It's hard to find safe places to eat when dealing with an allergy, & this is the only non-chain place in the area we feel safe to eat at, and I am so thankful for it.

The food we ordered was cooked perfectly and all of it tasted very good and was reasonably priced. Everyone with me enjoyed it. The waitress was extremely friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. We will definitely return. We ate inside, but there is also a drive thru. With three meals that consisted of a main dish, side, & drink, plus two desserts, the total only came to $30 something, which is fast food...

Girl with dark black or brown hair took our order we wanted hushpuppies they even repeated the order to us still got it wrong. When got to the window mistaken our food the first time asked if a different order was ours and then she gave us fries we told her we ordered hush puppies instead of fries she still charged us for the fries which we didn’t want or order and decided to have a attitude. We ordered 2 large orders of bbq pork nachos and asked for the chips on the side. What we got was two to go boxes with about half a handful of crunched up and broken chips and a bag with all of our sides in individual cups. And NO MEAT. We called and I spoke to a very sweet lady on the phone who said they would replace the order if we came in, so about an hour later we go through the drive through, it’s 6:15 ; they close at 7, or so I was told and such their door and google states.
