KFC — Restaurant in Herrin

I've been coming to this location over the past few weeks because it's closer than the Marion location to me and I always order the same thing. Yesterday when I went, I was told by the girl working that they "can't up size the sides," even though I've been being getting large mashed potatoes and gravy and a large drink every time I go to KFC, even at this location, and you can change the size of the sides online if you choose to order that way.

She said that the only way she could give me large sides is if I ordered two three piece tenders, presumably so they could combine the two mashed potato orders into one large container. I should have just left, but I went with it and ended up paying over $20 for it, which admittedly is crazy of me to actually pay that much for some chicken tenders and potatoes.

We would eat here more often, but they are always out of white extra crispy chicken. Tonight they were out at 6:00 p.m. and didn't close till 11:00 p.m. Why can't they start fixing more when they see that they are getting low? I can understand if it is getting close to closing, but this was at dinner time. People are coming through and don't want to wait half an hour for an order. The person taking the order was not listening to us either. When we first ordered she said they only had regular and extra crispy woukd be 29 minutes. We asked if we could get extra crispy in dark and regular in white. She then said it would take 20 minutes for the regular and extra crispy after she said they had white in regular. Said they would have to fix both. Was very confusing. The no extra crispy has happened the last 4 or 5 times we have eaten here. Hope...

Weird employees. Instead of doing work, they would rather sit outside and play with their car horns. I stopped to get food while traveling and my family and I sat and chatted outside for a second or two. Some weird lady comes out and starts repeatedly pressing her horn for whatever reason. We decided to not even get food. Heard the food quality has declined tremendously, also. Won't ever visit this location again. So uncalled for. If they had an issue with us being out there, the professional thing would have been to specify that and ask that we not talk in the parking lot. Instead they rather leave their space of duty to be weird lol. Do better please and thanks 😊. Update: My Aunt said her chicken was raw the last time she ate there. Yikes!
