I need to say that after the horrible service I had been getting I tried Taco Casa again and finally, I noticed that the crew had been replaced and trained. Ever since then the service has been very good too outstanding. I am glad I can once again come to one of my favorite fast food taco restaurants. Iâm leaving the horrible comment below as a reminder to management that service matters.
Let me start off that I love Taco Casa but the one in Hewitt Texas has frustrated me to no end. For the last 6 plus months once or twice a week I have bought tacos at the Hewitt store. And not once has the order ever been made correctly. I kind of made jokes about it with my wife but after a while it started to bother me that the customer really doesnât matter at this store. Finally I complained to the manager and she assured me the situation would be taken care of. I donât want anyone fired but damn. At least teach them to do their job correctly. Well the last 2 times the order wasnât made correctly and the shells were in crumbs. I finally had had enough. I asked to see the manager but supposedly there wasnât a manager around and an acting manager stepped up to the counter. She was rude and accusing me of not ordering correctly by demanding to see my receipt. Then when the order was wrong she wouldnât accept that the employee had made a mistake. Well they finally made my order correctly and complained to no end. The last time I was in I had the same problem but after the same rude lady demanded my receipt once again and asked what my problem was I got mad and let a crude remark escape from my mouth and promptly apologized about my remark but she was even more rude now. The last thing that happened was 2 containers of tomatoes was thrown on the counter to complete my order... WOW I couldnât believe that I was being treated so poorly as a customer who only wanted my order made correctly at least once. Iâm owed an apology and more from that store.    Read moreThe food was good. The environment as far as the workers were concerned was a different issue. I get to the counter and the cashier didn't say Hi or provide any type of greeting. He just stood there until I started to give him my order....Ok? As I start to order, he interupts me to ask if it's for here or to go...Ok? I told him it's for here. I finish my order and he gives me the total, then asks me, again, if it's for here or to go....Ok? I told him, it's for here! So he asks for a name for the order, I pay, then he hands me our cups. Then we just stand there in awkward silence....he doesn't offer my receipt or indicate that our transaction is complete so I ask, 'Are we good?', he says 'Yep'....Ok? I then move to a table to wait for my name to be called. A few minutes go by and I see a tray of food brought to the pick up counter but no name was called.....Ok? My husband looks at me then decides to go see if that is our food. Sure enough it is!....Ok? Again the food was good but the service was sub-par. I would consider coming back, but if I walk in and see the same crew....I'm out! There was a lot of playing and yelling coming from the kitchen and the restaurant was getting busy. There was a lady that appeared to be working the drive-thru window, but I noticed that even though she was handed the food from the kitchen, she continued on with her conversation with another worker before she went to hand the customer their food.    Read moreI visit this place often & I always have a special order. I always order the same thing. I order a salad with only tomatoes & lettuce in the bowl & I ask for the other ingredients to be put in containers. Today I asked for extra tomatoes & had asked for them & the lettuce to be put in the bowl. I asked for extra tomatoes on purpose because for some reason they always leave them off & I'm always checking before I leave to make sure the order is correct before I drive all the way home & have to come back. Theyâve left them off several times. Mind you Iâm paying extra just hoping they get my order right. Today I got my order & quizzed them about the tomatoes because they werenât in the bowl but in individual containers & didnât know that. I saw one container & asked if the other tomatoes had been put in the salad. A lady with black hair came from around the assembly line & spoke rather rudely to me. I was taken back by her tone in her voice & the longer I thought about it I wasnât rude. I just didnât see the other container until she pointed it out because I never asked for them to be put on the side but on top of the lettuce in the bowl. I will never visit your location in Hewitt again! Iâm still in utter shock of her disrespect & the tone in her voice that she used with me.
