Taquisa Waco — Restaurant in Hewitt

Went here about a week or two ago. Was there early for my lunch break but obviously not early enough. It took my whole break to get the food which was a plate with three tacos. The tacos I got were one of barbacoa, one asada, and one pastor. The rice and beans were good but the beans lacked a little flavor. The barbacoa taco was just like any other places, not as good as expected; the asada taco had terrible cuts of meat, so chewy and not that great in flavor unless you like things heavily salted ; and the al pastor taco lacked pineapple and any better flavor than maybe seasoning salt on it. The price is okay, maybe I should have gotten a Torta which is what everyone else was ordering. Hard to find a great taco place then they all serve the same white washed junk. It was good enough to eat in its entirety tho. Love this food, come here all the time, but the most recent trip I made down here I was treated so poorly by the lady working the register. She didn’t greet me or say anything, I ordered and asked for my tacos to be wrapped separately since I was getting food for multiple people not just myself. She rolled her eyes and then shut the window after taking my payment. I then waited for my food and when I got it she put all the food together on one plate. I took my food and didn’t ask her again since clearly she didn’t want to do it the first time. I think his is extremely inconsiderate of customers that are ordering for multiple people. The food is amazing and they give you a little beeper thing so you can go to your car with the beeper and it will start beeping when your food is ready! Highly recommend the birria tacos with green and brown sauce!! the only hiccup is it is inside a sketchier gas station parking lot but nothing has ever happened and it’s not really that big of a deal!
