Tu Pan — Restaurant in Hialeah

We just landed at Fort Lauderdale Airport from California around 1:30 AM on Thursday, craving a pan con bistec. I grew up in Hialeah in the 80s and always enjoyed this sandwich during my visits, but never after hours. After finding this spot on Google, which is open 24 hours, we were hopeful but cautious.

To our delight, Dayana and Justina welcomed us warmly and quickly prepared our sandwiches. They were absolutely delicious! I had never tried them with cheese before, but it was a fantastic addition. The staff were so friendly that they even treated us to a cafecito colada and took photos of us. We joked that they should open a restaurant in California, as there isn't much competition there.

I was amazed to learn that this place has been around for over 40 years—what a legacy! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Just a heads up: bring cash or use the ATM inside.

Just stopped buy to order a Pancon Bistec and I have never encountered anyone so rude with no manners that absolutely dislikes her job as much as this lady. Wow 😮 smh 🤦🏻‍♂️ if the owner reviews his cameras he will see for himself that he has a major problem. I guess that’s why there was no one at the counter ordering food. This shift sucks. The morning shift is absolutely much better. Stay away from the after 5:00 pm shift. Part 2 Got home and I had to give it to my dogg. It was Absolutely horrible i should have went to Tacobell. It was Under cooked and I told her 3 times no cheese and I guess my Spanish is not good enough because the cheese was everywhere....

I moved to NYC 7 years ago from Miami FL, and every time I come back home to Miami the first thing I want to eat is pan con bisteck and a classic place to go is here TU PAN, but each and every time I come back it gets worse and worse. This is my last time coming here. Their sandwich was more like a grill onion sandwich, the steak is paper thin that you can't even taste it, I asked for xtra steak and I was charged for a whole other sandwich and even though the steak flavor wasn't there only tons of onions.
